A young progressive coach needs time, time that Arsenal fans will not give him. If Arsenal don’t qualify for Europe this year, there will be calls for his head.
Maybe, but by getting Arteta, unless he has a massive impact very quickly, most of your big players will want to move on pretty fast. And that's ok if you've got plenty of talent coming through and you can make them part of a long term project which the fans can be enthused by, but let's be blunt here, Arsenal don't. The only other solution would be to spend big but we know that won't happen.
The type of football Arteta is likely to want to play will not be kind to anything other than very talented players. Pepball is fantastic when it works but it does not often tolerate mediocrity.

I don't start my new job until the 6th of Jan, I've been off since November 15th, but my new job just paid me, I'm a little lost
Some of us are used to abject misery Jesal. Tone it down a notch.
But yeah query it with them and don't touch it because they have a legal right to claim it back off you if it was given in error (as I'm sure you're aware).

True. Could be exactly what you need. But Arsenal and the way it's run doesn't strike me as that radical or competent, and I do not expect the fans to put up with what happens in the short to medium term.

Rebuilds are just that from the ground up, every sports team at some point has to rebuild ground up. Shit Golden State is gonna probably get a lottery pick in the next NBA draft.
Schedule released for Inter Miami* today. Probably gonna catch a fair amount of the games
*Inter Miami will not be playing in Miami, FL in 2020. They will be playing in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.**
**Inter Miami still does not have a stadium deal for a Miami, FL location as of 12/19/19, or 19/12/19 however you prefer. The current site proposed Miami site is basically shit hole. Arsenic, lead, barium levels all above the state law.
Arsenal fans gave emery a whole season and a half, it was only when it looked clear that we started looking worse and worse that things got bad
By FortuneFaded Go To PostInter Miami is still such a stupid nameThe crest is cool though, Miami FC seems lame as well IMO.
I would have loved Miami Vice.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostI can't remember the last time a movie pissed me off as much as The Rise Of Skywalker.Terminator Genesys?
Jurassic World?

Jurassic World?
Rise just annoyed me.

By FortuneFaded Go To PostInter Miami is still such a stupid nameThere’s so many bad names like that in MLS. Real Salt Lake, Sporting Kansas City, wtf
By LFMartins86 Go To PostHaven't seen World, Genesys was laughingly bad.World is not as bad as Genesys but still fucking terrible. Saw them back to back and what a horrible evening that was.
Rise just annoyed me.
Those IPs should just rest. At this point they just feel like cheap nostalgia pandering with terrible ideas and an even worse execution.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostRise? It's terrible.Shoot.
I still plan on seeing it but yeah my expectations are in check.
Random non-sequitur but just seen that Lewandowski has missed 5 games since 2015. That's fucking insane.
Epic match this was in retrospect. The team we had that season was so close to winning title as well but losses at the end vs. bottom half clubs like Aston Villa and Sunderland, which ended Mourinho’s obscene unbeaten home run, were our downfall. Likeable group of players then.
If only we kept KDB...
By Laboured Go To PostRandom non-sequitur but just seen that Lewandowski has missed 5 games since 2015. That's fucking insane.Same as his time in Dortmund. Dude is just never injured and pretty much plays every game.

Speaking of terrible movies, why the fuck were people pretending the Jumanji reboot wasn't shit? Was it because it did videogames and nerds love videogames? Fucking terrible movie.
I love how it had 1 trick for set pieces (bad guys in bikes) and they reuse it like 3 times. Like, the 2 minutes of out of body comedy barely make up for how terrible it is.

By FootFungus Go To PostWe gave Emery a whole year, this season is a write off.Emery is hardly a new and progressive coach.
It was a bad pick for multiple reasons. His style didn't fit the material. Combine that with a managment that kicked out Mislintat. They focused on spending big on players that weren't really worth it and didn't really fit in either.
Now you don't have the funds, players that should stay due their importance are most likely going to leave.
Arteta got the bonus of learning under Pep and being a person that played a role for the club before. That's about it.
Incredible risky move, but the market for coaches is kinda fucked.
Should try to loan out some talented players from some big clubs around the world. There are certainly more than enough players on the benches from top clubs that need time on the pitch. Unless you sell one of your stars right away, but even than I would still get some loans in.
By inky Go To PostSpeaking of terrible movies, why the fuck were people pretending the Jumanji reboot wasn't shit? Was it because it did videogames and nerds love videogames? Fucking terrible movie.I never watched it, but the main argument I heard from people was, that they thought it would be worse.

Sometimes you need those sort of movies that doesnt take itself too seriously.

Penny is Alphonso Davies legit?
I know as a Canadian he’s been hyped for the past few years but I haven’t watched him at all at Bayern.

From the signings they did, he's easily the one that delievers on a constant level unlike Couts, Perisic, Parvard, Hernandez.
Still some question marks whenever he delievers on the same level against some really good team and if he can keep that level.
I didn't bother with Jumanji. I kind of figured it would be shit.
What do you guys think of Tenet's trailer?

Why are Madrid so cringe? Demanding the audio of the VAR team because they didn’t get the call their way?
Man City-esque.

Great news, something was obviously wrong between him and Poch ever since his injury in 17/18 and subsequent demotion. Toby is key for both our defense and attack.
