man I want to know what Ole said to them at half time.
Celebrating like they just got berated and now scoring so dad doesnt ground them for a week.

By Killer7 Go To PostMendy looks like he struggles with crossing. Madrid look like a team in better shape atm. Zidane looks to be building something again and could see why he wants Pogba. Looks like you already have the workhorses in midfield to compliment his style. That's just it right, once Messi is gone this team is going to crumble, you can already see it. Pique is on his last legs, Busquets is tired, Suarez looks finished, greassymen is forced, etc, etc. They have Ter Stegen though, he's stupid good.
Barca look like they're in need of a rebuild. Suarez isn't the same player any more, not sure what role Griez is supposed to play in that team. De Jong at least is a good foundation to build that midfield around, not sure whats happened to that Arthur lad. Pique and Alba are getting on so the defence needs work. And can Dembele be trusted with all these injuries.
Feel like it'll need more than just an injury prone Neymar and a coach to fix things long term.
(as long as they have Messi, he'll carry them in the league/later stages in the CL)
With regards to us, I still don't think we need Pogba. Had we had a fit Marcelo and Hazard we would have run havoc on them going forward. Zidane's turned this team around pretty well, I still remember what we looked like last season + early in this season. Works been paying off.
By Koko Go To PostHe was rock solid defensively.i thought so too, agreed, but going forward he was abysmal. So many missed passes, crosses.
Casemiro and Fede did gods work.
By Flutter Go To Postman I want to know what Ole said to them at half time.'Just pretend they are a top 4 club'

Williams only on the pitch for 5 minutes and we're 3-0 up and he's still starting fights. I'm in love.
By Laboured Go To PostMata is such a square peg for the football we're trying to play.Yeah, but whatever makes De Gea happy.
Kasper talking maaaad shit before Holgate took his. Pickford has gotta save this one to give them any chance realistically.

By Cleff Go To PostI'm having a hard time finding any fucks to give about what City think.

By Dan Go To PostHope we do United home and away.
Surprising.
By Plasma Go To PostI'm having a hard time finding any fucks to give about what City think.I mean you can't hire him without sorting out the compensation package for City so it's weird and does nothing to help Arsenal if nothing else.
The only thing that is a more powerful force in the universe than Man City being lucky in cup draws is Man United being unlucky in cup draws.
By Meier Go To PostI mean you can't hire him without sorting out the compensation package for City so it's weird and does nothing to help Arsenal if nothing else.
I'd assume the rationale is that they originally approached and were told not until the summer. Then they carried on anyway on the basis that they knew they could just pay out the remainder of his contract. An offer therefore need not be made nor does there need to be a dialogue.
City really aren't a side you want over two legs. Which reminds why the fuck are there still two legs for these semis in 2019?

Whole reason that unecessary shit cup exists.
By Laboured Go To PostCity really aren't a side you want over two legs. Which reminds why the fuck are there still two legs for these semis in 2019?It's a weird one especially since they axed the ET in these earlier games and the like. Presumably if the League Cup sticks around for awhile despite all the discussion it could go that it's inevitable it will change at some point in the near future. I suppose there exists the matter of sorting out an extra game with Wembley or some other neutral site which surely can't be very difficult.
I suspect it's for the same outmoded reason they until-recently had replays in the FA Cup. In case a small team gets in against a big team and then they can have some gate revenue from their home game.
By Laboured Go To PostlolLevy wondering where the bidders went:
By JesalR Go To PostGiven NFL, music, rugby, boxing I don't see why notJerry World's naming deal was for up to $19m (£14.5m) a year when the Cowboys sold the name to AT&T. It would definitely be worth more now (especially if Toronto got £24.5m which is wild but the Maple Leafs are massive and obviously the Raptors just won a title), but it also has a capacity of 40,000 more than the Spurs stadium. It'll be tough to get that figure but if Levy holds out long enough he might get something approaching it. The article says £17.5m is considered a more realistic number which seems far more likely.
Oh yeah forgot to mention it but regardless of whether that was Colchester, Axel is a better and more natural partner for Maguire.

Clubs from the 3rd league and below get the home game either way. The rest is up to the draw itself. No replays either, just finish the game in extra time or penalties if necessary.
Think the top 6 in the PL should stay out of the league cup imo, let the other teams in the PL and lower divisions try and win it.
By JesalR Go To PostSurely seating barely matters? I figure the TV coverage is worth way moreThe TV deal for the NFL is insane.. league wide it's something like $7.5 billion a year spread throughout the teams. The article says the Giants/Jets stadium has a similar deal to the Cowboys so at least until recently that was around the ceiling for the US. However, the revenues league wide keep going up (the Cowboys made $864m in 2018) which obviously helps drive up what they can ask for as well. It'll be interesting I guess to see how big some of the other naming deals get here based on that Toronto figure. I'm surprised at that one.
