Ohhh fuck yeah nostalgia overload!
By Cleff Go To PostLatest WandaVision ep is really good. Took on a more sinister tone.
Hardly anything happened
Three episodes in I feel comfortable saying this is not a good show

She had twins, her friend is some sort of SWORD agent, and the world she’s constructed is contained and surrounded by military - the last bit was pretty obvious from the trailers
I wouldn’t call that a fuck ton. We’re like an hour and a half in now and there’s like no major developments unless you count the Geraldine thing
By Bungie Go To PostShe had twins, her friend is some sort of SWORD agent, and the world she’s constructed is contained and surrounded by military - the last bit was pretty obvious from the trailersThere's the revelation that at least some of the habitants of the town are aware of the situation and are not part of SWORD, Vision starting to realize that something isn't right, Wanda getting more unhinged and down right creepy, the indication that something else besides Wanda is controlling the events as it was shown by the stork that Wanda wasn't able to control despite having shown an incredible amount of power.

I think that was a lot for what amounted to 25 minutes of actual show.
I normally prefer to bing watch shows but it's been cool seeing the discussion about what's going on weekly and people going through all little things.
I actually didn't expect things to move so much forward in this episode given that there are at least 3 to 4 more episodes in this sitcom format.
The thing they did with the aspect ratio was pretty damn cool.
I'm thoroughly enjoying it, still. Definitely can see how it wouldn't be someone's cup of tea.
I'm wondering if, Mephisto or someone with a power-set like his, is involved. That stork disregarding her reality warping powers was kinda out there.

By Bungie Go To PostHardly anything happenedTotally agree. Maybe I was tired but I fell asleep in the middle and was in and out from the point the fire sprinkler went off. But I have 0 desire to rewatch this to see if I missed something.

It"s super slow paced. It feels plodding and stretched. Do we need to get through 5 decades of TV till something happens? Then I'll gladly watch episode 6's recap and save me some time.

Just rewatch the series trailer imo. All you missed was the revelation that something bigger is going on, and then 10 minutes of credits after that

Most definitely. Pretty sure that she's referenced hell, a decent amount of times too.
Sounds like they're adapting a couple of comic storylines at once, West Coast Avengers and Tom King run
Only recently got D+.
Watched an episode of Mandalorian. I’m not a SW fan at all, but it made a good first impression. Up to episode 4 now.
Also watched Wandavision. First episode seemed harmless enough but on to the second and third, straight trash.
The attempts at being a quirky sitcom just fall flat for me, all the mystery of something nefarious going on behind the facade of said sitcom is too on the nose.

I liked the latest ep of WandaVision. Filling in a lot of small details about what happened to the world in the immediate aftermath of Banner snapping everyone back into existence. The return scene was very well done.
But I definitely get the complaints about the show moving slowly. We've now essentially been given a recap of the series to date, but from a different perspective. I liked the perspective shift and it gave us the revelation that *spoilers* Wanda is fully in control of her little pocket dimension and isn't under the influence of anyone.. But for people wanting faster plot progression and new story beats it's a bit disappointing.

The reveal that it's Vision's dead corpse walking around and Wanda seems to be pulling a weird puppeteer act is very disturbing

I think they may also be implying That everyone in the town is actually dead

Absolutely. Part of me is lowkey salty that we didn't get something this well done, in a film 1st. Lol
I love the creepy af, disturbing tone that the show took, today.
Still not fully convinced that Wanda is in complete control. There was the thing with the stork last episode, the fact that Agnes wasn't identified despite being the "character" that shows up the most. A couple more questions pop up like why Westview in particular?Last episode was pretty good. The return was so well done and Darcy was the standout. I was pretty certain that she was the one watching the episodes before. Corpse Vision has to be the darkest thing the MCU has ever done.I don't feel like the pacing has been slow but I appreciate the old dated gags and the homage to the classic sitcoms.
People think this is moving slowly? Kinda weird, if anything I thought the reveal was too quick, and maybe even too specific (though I agree with Martins, there is more to it).
I haven’t even watched the new episode. Idk how to explain it but I’m kinda just over the whole “next big reveal” that this show is going with. Show seemed to want you more interested in SWORD with all the super super subtle references...
It’s like how after the first Avengers every movie was about leading up the Thanos, but now it’s just in your face every episode instead of every 4 months.

New episode was great. Shows been awesome and I agree with LF. Also more content coming is great too
WandaVision is good fun but it's one of those shows that would be better if you could binge it. the slower pace doesn't work for me if it's weekly.
WandaVision
Fuck it I'm all in now. They've finally addressed Wanda's control over the town, but interestingly she doesn't seem to remember how it all started. Think they're hinting at her being manipulated by someone else.
And in huge spoilers
They've resurrected Quicksilver, but it's the one from the X-Men cinematic universe. Great twist. And Wanda says she wasn't responsible for that. So who is actually in control?

LOL, but seriously, going by comic book logic, it has to be AIM (not the Killian led one of course) to some capacity, I think. MODOK, Mentallo, etc. So probably someone we haven't seen before. Or maybe I'm wrong.
This show.
Paul Bettany is having fun out here. I really am enjoying his performance.
S.W.O.R.D director is dumb af. A drone strike, my guy? Not even a preemptive one, at that. Thanos tried to glass the area, including himself, just to make her stop beating his ass. That was going to do the job? lmfao
My thoughts too, at this point: It's either some form of AIM, Agatha, or Mephisto. To many references have shown up, just to be nods to the fans. Agatha's allowed behavior and the differences in her freakout vs the guy's is super telling. I don't think he was talking about Wanda, when he mentioned "her."
Also, Monica has beef with Captain Marvel? I wonder what for.

By Cleff Go To PostJimmy Woo investigating cosmic disturbances is a show I want.
I really hope he can pull this off. lol
Baron Zemo was a good villain in Civil War. Glad they didn't actually kill him off like they do with most of their MCU antagonists.
I don't trust Agnes. I get that she might be huge ass misdirection, but after today's performance? C'mon.
Monica has to be getting her powers here. The reveal / awakening better be dope af. Also, wtf does this say about everyone else? Are we about to get Inhumans / Mutants out of this?
It's more than likely not him, but maaaaaaaaaaaan it would be cool if Blue Marvel was her contact. I don't know who it's going to be though.
SWORD director is shady af. MCU take on Sentinels? dunno
Darcy better be a waiter, after getting Westviewed. 2 Broke Girls ref plz.
edit: Also the commercial for today was super fucked up. Could mean that they're all going to die, if they don't fix the shit. Could mean nothing.

After this episode, some of the shit that happens in the first couple of episodes is way more fucked up than it seemed, on 1st impression.
The first episode at the dinner table is fucking yikes, with proper context. Jesus, they basically glitched out and Wanda had to be begged to save him.

Some big reveals in the latest WandaVision.
Monica has made her transformation to Captain Marvel/Spectrum. They're really playing up Wanda's power btw. Told us last week that she could've beaten Thanos alone and now she's inadvertently created one of the more powerful heroes.
Agnes is actually Agatha Harkness and is the real antagonist of the series
