As a dirty foreigner I'm not bothered with accents, good or bad, in the least, even though I can obviously tell when someone's doing a terrible one.
I guess it has something to do with my brain being too busy subconsciously transcoding an alien language into native, meaningful concepts ... or maybe I'm simply missing that very first cognitive layer that forms when a language is being imprinted at an early age. I'm sure there's studies on the subject.

Idris Elba is proof that good American accents can be done.

Finished Boba Fett. The show was essentially more about Mando than the title character. Disney's Star Wars shows started strongly, but they're already going the way of their Marvel IP. They're afraid of original ideas and going in a new direction. Everything has to be familiar and palatable to the broadest possible reach.
I recently found out that Coruscant has a population of 4 trillion people. That's one planet in the entire galaxy. 4 thousand billion people. Yet 9 main line films and copious spin offs have revolved around 1 Jedi, his offspring and small group of friends. The world is vast yet the scope of the story is incredibly narrow. The franchise desperately needs new ideas.

As much as I love Star Wars made with and by Dave Filoni but this is the most unnecessary thing ever. Boba finale was a mess. I really would love something set in the Star Wars universe but using 0 characters ever shown before.
Having just said that I'll contradict myself right away as is standard for Star Wars fans by saying, do a comedy show around Bill Burr's character from The Mandalorian trying out new jobs. Or Seinfeld on Coruscant.

Could bring you to a lot of interesting locations on the planet itself and gives the chance to showcase lots of different species. Even follow something along the lines of Detective Miller's search for Julie Mao in the Expanse.

A big issue I have with everything post Mando S1 is Disney's blatant move towards content farming and its utter refusal to stray too far from its established canon.

S1 was an intriguing Wild Western style sci-fi drama. It created two new characters in Din Djarin and Grougu in an attempt to move away from the movie bullshit. We had a Mandalorian who was a member of a fringe sect that was basically a cult. Could have used him to explore more about the Mandalore War and his culture. A bit of that was explored in the Clone Wars series, but not much. The show could have been its own thing and went in any direction it wanted, unburdened by the decades of shit which Star Wars was weighing under.
Instead S2 brought us right back into the canon and made blatant attempts at creating backdoor pilots for like 4 different shows. We had the one for Gina Carano and Rangers of the New Republic, Ahsoka Tano and her series, Boba Fetts series and I'm sure we'll get one with CGI Luke Skywalker as well. Four episodes of an eight episode season that were more about creating new shows than advancing the characters or plot of the actual show.
What's worse is that it's clear Disney didn't have a goal with their newly established Boba Fett show other than creating more content for Disney Plus. Again, two full episodes were about the Mandalorian Din Djarin and did not advance the plot of the former one bit.
Instead it gave us extremely plot relevant details for Mando S3 whilst also cutting the legs off Boba Fett. Grogus return should have been kept for the finale of S3.
We're now left in a situation where Grogu departed with Luke at the end of S2, but by the start of S3 he's already back. That forces fans of Mando who didn't watch Boba to now watch this show. It's blatantly an excuse just to get more viewers for every IP.
Don't have much faith in Mando ever recapturing the S1 feel. It's no longer its own thing. By placing so many older characters into the show the mystique has been lost. It's been put back into the Skywalker verse and all of those old conflicts because that's what the loudest fans want. Nothing can be new and everything must be comfort food.
Yup and get ready for 29 more shows all interconnected in the OT era carpetbombed with dead eyed CGI actors.
Filoni & Favreau just want to put those Clone Wars characters into everything because noone watched it.

With the addition of these titles, some of which like “Daredevil” are violent and more mature, Disney Plus will simultaneously release an update to its existing parental controls in the U.S., prompting all subscribers to update their settings. The settings include an option to select content ratings restrictions for each profile and to add a PIN to lock profiles. Those that choose to keep their settings the same will continue to use Disney Plus as they always have within a TV-14 content rating environment, with the option to make changes at any time under the profile settings tab.Luke Cage fucks on Disney+
It was changed for everyone but Disney came out and said it had been an error in the parental settings, didn't see their response before posting.
Just watched the first episode of Moon Knight. Thought it was average at best, they should have released the second episode already because it was starting to get interesting.
Terrible CGI though.

Yeah, really wasn't impressed with the first ep of Moon Knight. Did they have to write Steven as such an annoying character? Some terrible writing and CGI for sure.

It’s laughable parody BUT is justified enough given the context that the character himself is making up a facsimile of what he believes it should sound like.

Not gonna lie, the second episode of Moon Knight. Oscar Isaac is just carrying this show with some incredible performances
Three or four eps into Atlanta. Enjoying it well enough but not blown away so far. Did like the one in the prison holding room.
Not really feeling Moon Knight except for the Mr. Knight sequence.Oscar Isaac is great but the Steven persona is incredibly annoying.
Was expecting the English accent to be much worse tbh. Sounded much worse in the trailers. That's not to say the first ep. was great tho.

It's still very exposition heavy, which is a problem with all Marvel stuff, but at least it's doing interesting things visually.
