By Punished Go To PostGood interview with Peter Moore in NYT.Can he come out with the tattooed names of new transfers on his bicep?
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/11/04/sports/liverpool-transfers-peter-moore.html?emc=rss&partner=rss
Rather than buying coffee, the fan insisted, Moore should have been back in his office finding the money to buy Virgil van Dijk, the Dutch defender whom Liverpool was, at the time, still struggling to acquire. The man departed with two parting words that cannot be printed here, stalking off before Moore could explain two important points.Disgusting fanbase.

They’ve been a revelation this season.
By FligureSkatingFan Go To PostI was so wrong about him. Last season under Sarri he was an object of derision from the fans and his overall play ranged from poor to mediocre but this season under Lampard, holy crap. He's not as good as Fabregas at his best during his time at Chelsea in terms of the decisive pass, but probably is the better player overall. The fans love him lately and it seems like the players look to him as a leader as well.
I don’t want Arteta. I believe a manager earns his position through his own work. Being a coach under Pep means jack shit. Even Lampard was in the lower leagues putting in a shift. Pep and Zidane did it with the B teams.
All Arteta has to his name is ‘he is responsible for Sterling scoring a goal in one game.’
I can’t think of a single successful manager who has gone from nothing to coaching a ‘big’ team. Maybe Capello, but he at least had experience managing Milan’s youth team.

Good shout, but what about more recently? The player-manager role isn’t really something we see much off these days, and I doubt we will again after the job Kompany has been doing.

If we wanted to go the "use to be a player" route I guess Vieira is the best bet but he's not doing to well. At this point I'd be fine with a caretaker manager if we lose more points under Emery. I don't see Allegri coming to Arsenal.

Frank de Boer had close to no experience. Only managed our U19 team in the season leading up to him replacing Jol at the first team. Brought us 4 titles and terrible football.

This guy has made a living taking the piss out of Arsenal to wind up their fans and get them to call/text in. He had a segment on his show called "The Daily Arsenal" where he would find something every day to troll them about without fail. Top guy.

Imagine the optics here. Bale gets injured during the last NT games break, he's been off a month due to a "very small knock" according to Wales when he got injured. Missed some crucial games and was starting in all games, he looked really good too. Now, he's been called back to the NT while still not playing for Madrid.
Imagine the optics if he goes to play for Wales and misses more games for Madrid. I would ship his ass to China myself if he does that.

Pretty nervous for tonight's game. Losing tonight won't be a shame, nor will it mean the end of our goal to reach the knockout rounds. But reaching 9 points after tonight would be absolutely massive. Still a bit salty about that loss, a draw would have been fair. Really hope the boys can scrape out a win tonight.
By Zabojnik Go To PostNo De Ligt in Moscow, picked up a light sprain in the derby. RIP Juve.
only if we go with Rugani, otherwise we're fine.

I'd also imagine Sanchez wouldnt be that much of a wreck if he doesnt play for his country so damned much.

I don't have the time to read it right now, but I will when I can. But it still baffles me that a western country is lacking so much understanding for an issue that's hard to deny in this day and age.

Or don't for your intellectual sanity.
Well the article perfectly explains what I already knew. It’s an Italian thing, not just an Italian football thing. But what I’d be really interested in is to know why Italy is so behind on this matter. There’s gotta be some explanation for the abundance of racial outings by the average Italian without them really seeing what they’re doing wrong.
Also, this article does generalize Italians pretty harsh of course. Gotta feel for the Italians out there that actually know what you can and can’t say.

By FootFungus Go To PostHow confident are you that he will get the nod, I kind of feel that they'll go with a more established name. It might be too much pressure for him to be Pep 2.0.I think it is almost guaranteed that they hire or attempt to hire Arteta after Pep leaves. I think even if Arteta is coaching somewhere else they'd go for him actually, but obviously that would complicate things. The groundwork has been laid, he's got the Barca DNA which we appreciate and he has the experience in the country. I'm certain he's the preferred successor even with a lack of head coaching experience.
