Didn't get to watch United this weekend, but not surprised. Bournemouth is our level, unfortunately.
Think we should revert to the 3-4-3 tbh. Having Pereira as a 10 is fucking useless.
De Gea; Lindelof, Maguire, Tuanzebe/Rojo; Wan-Bissaka, McTominay, Pogba/Fred, Williams/Shaw; James, Martial, Rashford.
Think it suits our best XI the most.

what the hell is going on this season
also our xG might be absolutely ridiculous, we're creating so much yet finishing games with a goal or two max allegri
xG takes into account the quality of the chances bear in mind, not just chances created. No idea what Juve's numbers are.
By FootFungus Go To PostAs an American I find it astonishing that any adult doesn't drive regularly, and wish I could do the same… I fucking hate driving everywhere.I don’t have a car. I walk to uni.
Driving is genuinely one of my fav things to do! I like picking up friends, road tripping (sometimes literally) and strolling around listening to music while contemplating life
the longer you delay it the harder you'll get it, at a certain age I imagine you'll just be too embarrassed to bother
it IS different in England though, you can get by just fine without a car.
what a waste of thread too.

By Daz Go To PostWhy persist with AP when Gomes is right there?
Can't be any worse, surely.
I like that Ole is giving Greenwood lots of chances (and clearly rates Axel and Williams), but it's a shame to see Gomes behind Pereira, Mata and Lingard in the pecking order.
By n8 dogg Go To PostNah. Failed my practical twice (once was my fault, second time I slightly hit the curb on a reverse parking manouevre and the instructor was a twat and overreacted). Then I moved into my own place and driving lessons got too expensive. Gonna get back on it in the new year hopefully, but haven't driven now for over a year.Failed my first ever one but passed the second one. Driving instructor basically said '.. I'm going to give you a pass but sometimes I wonder what goes on in your head'. I didn't care and jumped out of there with joy. Another one of my friend failed too but then received, to his surprise, a license in the mail. He asked driving instructor if this was an error in the system and just told him to keep it m8.

Did you guys see Angel in the Europa? He needs time to learn how to deal with physical challenges.
If you want to compare him to someone like, Cazorla, even he took his time to do so.

Funny this topic came up I'm going for my G1 (most basic driving level) test on Tuesday. Basically the same story as n8 + I'm terrified of driving myself. Genuinely haven't needed it so much thus far.
I was teaching my nephew how to drive last week
Good luck you drivers here

I always laugh at you first worlders and your driving tests and requirements and shit.
I learned how to drive when I was 16 in my mom's Sentra. Took me about 1 week. I got my license when I turned 18. There was no test of any kind, only a $20 fee. It was a permanent license which means I still have it and never have to update it unless I lose it or someone changes the law (a decade later so far so good). Been driving ever since and never been in a collision that was my fault. My 6 year old Jetta is still going strong.
Driving in Mexico City is a nightmare, can't imagine how you lads struggle in your modern ass cities with proper signage where everyone is required to pass a test.

By n8 dogg Go To PostI've been quite lucky I suppose; my secondary school was within walking distance, my school now where I work is within walking distance, and public transport is great in London. I didn't have the money at 17 to drive, and my ex-girlfriend and current girlfriend both drive so just never needed to.Don't work for da pussy, make the pussy work for you. Take notes from your bro Dean.
By inky Go To PostI always laugh at you first worlders and your driving tests and requirements and shit. There's these things called traffic laws in the states Ahmeegoo. I do miss the more lax driving in Mexico, one bad turn and you're hit with a 500 ticket in California.

By FortuneFaded Go To PostI don’t have a car. I walk to uni.Where do you live again? You can still live carless in America but only in very specific cities/regions. public transportation sucks even in somewhat larger cities.
One bad turn in CDMX and you probably fall into a ditch and lose your car forever. I mean, I get the rules are probably more strictly enforced that's why there are many prerequisites, but at least most roads aren't pothole filled landmines and there are no shoddy, poorly signaled, unpainted asphalt speedbumps every block that can literally murder your car at any moment.
I think I'm a decent driver (I mean, I'm no Pele :P) so that's why I'd prefer better roads. Obviously laughing at the rules ironically. Strictly speaking, only a mad, backwards country would give out permanent fucking licenses to just about anyone.

Yeah that’s not happening during the season. Maybe in the summer. But Erik shouldn’t go a step down the ladder, he should look up for a big club.
By inky Go To PostI always laugh at you first worlders and your driving tests and requirements and shit.I'm not sure I'd ever wanna drive in Mexico City but let's talk about the German Autobahn if we talk about traffic madness. I recently drove on a part with 4 lanes on each side, no speed limit and no trucks because only few are allowed to drive on Sundays. It was absolute fucking madness and I loved every second of it hahaha. On the most left lane you have people casually pushing 250+ km/h and everyone just gets pulled into pushing the pedal through and without noticing, you're suddenly going 150+ km/h, which, believe me, seems slow as hell to you.

For me traffic madness is witnessing plenty of wrecks on the road, the worst Ive seen was bits and pieces of gibs strewn all over. Thankfully most of the time they hide the body underneath newspapers, or cloth. We havr one of the worst countries in terms of automobile adcidents, and this is all with driving license exams.

150 is about the fastest I've driven (my car would probably fall apart if I pushed it further), but yeah, that sounds scary as hell. There aren't really many highways where you can push it here (not that people don't try), but even the super cars that can do it are scarce (unless you are footballer or narco kid).
To be fair. We consider Southern Europe to be first world, but they drive like mad men. Especially Italians. The infrastructure is probably somewhat better than in Mexico. But they have quite some awful roads as well. Especially in the mountains. Where locals drive like they’re Colin McRae.

Just added 30min to my 30min rainy night drive so I could finish listening to a brilliant podcast about soviet football. Absolutely love driving.
We were never going to turn around the club's intrinsic mentality and approach to football in a couple of months. It's going to take a while.

rancid piece of shit league. desperately hope we bin off the FLT this season, we already looked dead on Saturday. saying that they fine you for changing too many players from your last league game iirc and we are far too tight to pay that so RIP

I didn't get mine until last year, and it ended up costing me a bit over 2000 euros (and took me over a year to get, due to my liver aids). Feels bad man. I didn't really ever need to drive, and still don't. But feels nice to be able to drive wherever I want.
Fútbol was good today. Finished second in the table, qualified for Libertadores, avoided bogey team in playoffs quarterfinals. I'll be down in Ecuador in three weeks. I can go to the quarters and maybe semis if we get the first leg home.
