Yeah that guy was amazing, sure heโs at a top club spotting the next Messi or something.
Watching our game back proper and noting that Shaw was well off the pace positionally, Lingard was awful bar the goal, Chong obvs bad, I continue to like Axel, Greenwood needs to grow into the physical side of the game and that I like what I'm seeing from Garner and Levitt in particular. Vertical passes from midfield - who'd have thought?
Laird also decent but I'm not yet raving about him.

Arsenal has gone from going deep into the cl, to getting knocked out in the R16, to going deep into the EL, to battling to get out of a EL group.... What a ride.

He needed to do more overlapping.

Chong's not gonna make it. Kid needs to bulk up, and go out on loan to the Eredivisie.
Tragic display from PSV I see. What a season. The Dutch clubs started the year pretty good, but our EL clubs have been shit the last few match days.

They all need to bulk up (the kids obvs) and that ought to come. I've really see nothing from Chong. Gomes I'm 50/50 on in terms of whether he'll ever be strong enough for the EPL (he's still better than Lingard).
Greenwood looks like he needs to grow into his body. It takes a simple shove in the back from any average CB to put him off when he comes short. Might take a few years for that to happen tbqh. He'll still score plenty,
Just excited for more Garner and Levitt given our CM options are so awful atm.

what an absolute disgrace
Yeah so I've never really looked into this but the central point of the article (and most peoples' reaction) is that the findings of the (very long) inquest that spurred the further criminal proceedings against Duckenfield were not granted as fact for criminal litigation purposes, meaning that every fact was up for contest at the trial / re-trial.
I did not know this about the nature of inquests and it makes me wonder how something can be deemed unlawful in the conclusion of an inquest if procedurally speaking every fact is up for re-assessment - or at least it makes me wonder about the value of inquests at all. It also makes me wonder how the prosecution lawyers had not advised this to those involved in the action at the outset, given that it is now a matter of some surprise. But having recently spoken to some criminal barristers and judges re funding I am not that surprised.

I went to sleep after Auba's goal because I thought "Surely Arsenal cant fuck this up"
Well...
Anyway I've been impressed with Martinelli. Imagine your 6.7 million transfer being better than your 80m star buy.
Wont be surprised if Saliba and Martinelli were scouted by Mislintat before he went too.

On Shaw, he was invisible until the 2nd half. KidA has a point but Angel tried too hard to impress and it shows. To be fair, it was hard for him to do so, because the team was trying not to injure themselves on the plastic pitch.
Disagree on Chong being better than Lingard. At least I can see the latter in a lower table premiership team, the other screams Championship. Maybe in a few years.

By Linius Go To PostVini, can you fill me in on the boy Reinier from Flamengo? It would be a big get for Ajax, both Madrid teams have been heavily linked with him and only failed to sign him because of his high release clause.
Yeah, most European top clubs seem to be after him. I doubt 25 to 30 million is gonna be enough. Still think the chances of getting him are next to none. But this time at least a credible source linked us to him. So our interest is real, chances are probably still pretty slim.
By Flutter Go To PostI went to sleep after Auba's goal because I thought "Surely Arsenal cant fuck this up"I want to say that Emery "tactics" doesn't suit Auba, which they dont but also he fails to include himself in any sort of build up, at least Martenelli is hungry to prove himself. I honestly feel sorry for those who pay to go see Arsenal. Emery is just doing what he does, this bad form is on the board. Raul is has become Gazidis 2.0 and Kronke is still shit.
Wellโฆ

He was part of why Barcelona has degressed in a few areas especially with its youth system, which was nicely covered by the fact that they had Messi.

I'm just glad Plasma didnt go and get an Arsenal kit with Sanllehi's name at the back.

Does anyone else here live in a way where basically half the things you say are a Partridge reference? Me and my brother basically communicate through them.

Very common name in NL as well, so he'll fit in here.

Yeah the origins of that name are Germanic. Which of course isn't necessarily German.
Does Arteta have any coaching experience other than being Pepโs assistant? Mad lads if they hire him.
By Linius Go To PostVini, can you fill me in on the boy Reinier from Flamengo?Ajax is interested in him? He is very promising but is still very young. Looked really good the few times I saw him play.
Can't see Flamengo sell him now unless if Ajax pays a stupid amount of money.
