By Pennywise Go To PostHe missed the breakfast with the team, was late to the last training AND the last meeting before the game. What do you think has caused this breakdown in the relationship?

He was late before, but I doubt he missed/was late to 3 appointments before, especially so close before an important game like that.
I guess he really took the early sub against Bayern personal, but that sub could have happened to everybody else and the coach just had to do something. Unlike last season, where Sancho actually tracked back (not that he's great at it), he's doing it far less this season. Also struggles quite a bit to get past players and in general seems to be out of form.
So Favre subbing him out early against Bayern wasn't personal, it was just something he had to do and he rather left someone on that tracked back.
Now it looks like Sancho doesn't care anymore, all the sugar people blew up his ass is catching up in a bad way. There doesn't seem to be a person that can ground him. Not his father and certainly not his agent, who seems to use this stuff to get the money train going.
It's a bit sad. He still got the chance to pull it around, even if he leaves us at the end of the season. If he continues like that, he will end up like Dembele 2.0 as Zabo said.
He's pretty lucky or rather unlucky that he got a coach that's pretty damn soft.
Klopp would have eaten him...
Always wondered if that could happen to Sancho. He's good, but there's no room for any team for divas.
Speaking of divas, Jesse Lingard is the captain for tonights game. God help us.

lmao. why did those weirdos even have a statue of him? Played around 40 games for them and didnt do shit. Only notable thing that happened to Malmø during that period, is that they got relegated.
By Wahabipapangus Go To PostMalmø had nothing to do with the statue.

The Swedish FA are the ones who commissioned the statue and choose Malmø to host the statue because it's Zlatan hometown.
Whats the common opinion about True Detective's 3rd season?
I saw it available on the flight back from Monaco, started watching there, it looked decent. I'm halfway thru the season. I'm very casual on series and stuff, so my opinion is not worth much.

Sancho changed quite a bit in the last year. Apparently some youtuber buddies of one my friends had two interview gigs in the last two years with him. First year he was super friendly, kinda shy guy, this year he was full on sports celebrity arriving a few hours late, cutting the interview short and being quite preoccupied with his mobile phone. (ofc I consider this not the most credible source)
His tardiness isn't something new though. Staff of the team hotel did tell me that he's ALWAYS late to team talks and team breakfast/lunch. Apparently it wasn't that much of an issue before.

It sucks that physically, Tahith should be able to slot into our team as a sub at least but he cant even impress here.
Probably going for a loan in winter.

Dembele
Auba
Sancho now
Maybe it's not only on the players
Auba for example was "complete" as a player, it's not like he still had or would improve his game with the age.
He also played good no matter what. He is a pretty simple guy, but at least he had the right work ethic.
Problem with him due being late was a factor under Tuchel. Tuchel didn't bother when players showed up late unless they didn't perform.
So Aubameyang had ALOT of freedom and mostly paid it back.
Still it's something where the managment should have put their fist down, because it's something that influences the dressing room quite a bit, especially when you don't play well.
Dembele had the same freedom, but unlike Auba he was still a kid. On top of that, you had his transfer where Barca put ideas into his head and basically told him to go on strike. So you see the difference now, where Dembele isn't delievering and is still struggling with his lifestyle. He isn't growing as a player and the really important part, he isn't growing as a personality.
Dembele didn't have alot of good influence around him. Aubameyang was his closest friend in the team, he lived here alone with visits from his family every now and then. The club is also to criticise in that scenario, as they should have helped him alot more. In the end his agent saw the money and the rest is history.
Now Sancho isn't playing under Tuchel and there are alot more sanctions towards behaviour like that, but there's only so much you can do as club.
I mean it's not like Sancho made alot of problems before, being late isn't a complete deal breaker.
The thing is, he's not delievering alot on the pitch. The team is playing like shit and therefore the focus on negative things is there, a phase where you shouldn't create problems outside the pitch.
Being late an entire day after playing with the national team is something that will get sanctioned, missing every appointment in one day will get you sanctions. He shouldn't be suprised and act like he's the scapegoat. He's 19 years old and he's not to blame for the situation, but he should work towards making it better.
I was always hoping that Sancho would behave differently. He got his father with him here, the language barrier is not a factor. Guess all those leeches that start appearing around him and telling him that he's the best aren't helping.
We'll see how that will work out.
In the end the club deserves alot of blame, but there's only so much you can do.
What are your options? Sanctions like fee? Like those millionaires aren't laughing stuff like that off.
Leaving him out of the team? That will tank his value AND you're losing one of your best players.
It's not an easy situation, but those situations aren't really comparable.
By Vini.lad Go To PostWhats the common opinion about True Detective's 3rd season? It was good, not incredible. Would have benefited from having Saulnier at the helm for the whole season rather than just the first two episodes, as I felt he brought a sense of atmosphere that got lost when someone else was directing. Superb acting across the board.

Penny one of these days I shall teach you the virtues of formatting.
It's a shame Laird has to partner up with Chong. Like what I've seen by the former, however Chong actually tried to beat a defender by running straight into him. It was frustrating watching him on the ball.
By Laboured Go To PostOnly half watching. Seems like we've been ok.youths are ok, trying to hold their own.
Out of those that should be looking to impress; Chong, and Lingard are really meh.
Oh lord Chong. Please go to the Championship.
Just missed an open goal. All it needed was a tap in.
And Astana scored on the counter.
