Rooting for teams depends on regional attitudes. I know people who root for all the sf bay area teams. Although you will have fans of the As, Giants, Niners or Raiders who couldn't fathom rooting for the other league team, the younger crowd doesn't really give a shit about rivalries so much as repping anything bay area.

tbf most Bay Area teams have been shit in the 2000s until recently, so I wouldn't blame younger kids for doing that since they haven't figured it out yet.
