By Laboured Go To Postwhat am I missing
I've come up with an idea that nobody has ever thought of. It's bold and most people will dismiss it without a second thought but I know it can work. Are you ready for this lads?
We find a younger Messi.

i respect the lob from sterling.

By J Ciaran Go To PostZabozaaaaaaAgnelli started talking about it a couple of years back, about how young'ns and casuals (and China) care more about the Mbapes than they do about the club's legacy etc. Makes sense that we would give Ronaldo's signing continuity, ride the wave. J everything.
Welcome Sancho, RIP Penny.

kinda like the NBA now where fans follow players rather than teams.

J everything.I mean, it's kinda hard to really care about legacies if you're watching a team from halfway across the world. Honestly, at this point an exclusive super league seems possible in a decade or so.

america is filled with casuals, i feel.
people who don't necessarily support one club for the rest of their lives, but are okay to switching several times.
sickening if you ask me.

That's why I'm happy with Florentino's latest decisions. Clearly looking for younger talent in the likes of Rodrygo, Vinicius, Odegaard, Kubo, Fede, Brahim, Lunin, Jovic, Cabellos and so on. Hoping one of them is the next true big thing. Mixing them with polished, older talent seems to be our strategy going forward. And credit to Florentino, all of these signings look really promising or are already delivering.
This being said, I doubt we'll see another Messi or Ronaldo for a very, very long time again.

By markao Go To PostBorusia lads, why was goal VARred , switched to city match missed it"Offside"
I might be biased but that's honestly one of the most shit calls I've ever seen.
Reus' heel might have been an inch offside. Game goes on for a bit, it's no high paced counter attack. Hazard takes a shot, gets deflected by a Gladbach defender and their goalkeeper fucks up and let it go through.
I mean, if we go back far enough no goal stands anymore
By Ashwinho Go To PostYTBO is a nothing keeper. Navas was much, much better IMO.
You happy with TBO?
You're bound to have some duds, surely.
By bud Go To Postamerica is filled with casuals, i feel.Given the teams have no problem fucking over their fans and going somewhere else, no surprise the fans start behaving the same way

we'll absolutely see another Messi and Ronaldo
people used to say that about the actual greatest of all time, Maradona.

By Hitch Go To PostMbappe is the new R9 thoNah. Not even close to Fenomeno levels.
Skillwise there's going to be another Messi or Ronaldo
but I think it will be a long time that we can find someone with their tenacity and consistency to remain the best for more than a decade

We'll see another Ronaldo in one of his forms, not sure we'll see the seamless positional changes and longevity again anytime soon.
Wouldn't be surprised if Messi is still seen as the goat in 50 years time, largely depends on how much people who haven't watched him play hold Argentina's lack of trophies against him

By Hitch Go To PostWe'll see another Ronaldo in one of his forms, not sure we'll see the seamless positional changes and longevity again anytime soon. Will we even consider World Cup trophies a relevant title in the future? I honestly don't know proper but I'd imagine the level of club and NT football was closer last century. We already talk shit about international football, we have the power in our hands to be the start of not holding it against a top player that he can't win a title with his shitty fellow countrymen and/or subpar infrastructure in his FA. It's obviously still high level troll material: "Messi will never be the goat if he can't win a WC".

By Hitch Go To PostWe'll see another Ronaldo in one of his forms, not sure we'll see the seamless positional changes and longevity again anytime soon.I think time will be even less favorable to him on that. Ppl will look at the names on paper and just be baffled that he never won anything period on an international level unless you count that olympics lark
