I should finish the epilogue.
By Marston Go To PostThought RDR2 was one of the most overrated games I’ve played personally. That was mainly due to the lacklustre gameplay though. 60fps and mouse aim will be huge. Might have to give it a second play through 👀Dull aul game. First one had a bigger impact for me. Couldn't give a shit about the story
weird, I'm in the minority that loved it then?
Never played the first one so there might be a correlation.

Nah it's generally loved, and I think a much better game than the first one. It does have the usual R* problems though, and of course terrible performance.

I loved RDR2 too.
You're not alone.
Played it on XB1X so I had zero issues with the performance. It ran very well.
Listening to Frank Arnesens podcast, and as you can imagine he has quite a few stories to tell.
Pockettuna told Eriksen he isn't good enough in big matches (and well this is a fact) and wanted him sold this summer. Levy however isn't happy at all, with how Pockettuna has handled it internally.

By Willkiller Go To PostOutside of the incredible production values RDR2 is one of the worst games I’ve ever playedI wouldn't say worst, but yeah, dat 'control' mechanics
Rockstar are masters of making overrated games, still think their best work was Vice City people have been sucking them off every since because of production values

Fucking painful to play.
Slogged through about 8 hours before calling it a day
Interesting stuff regarding the failed Fekir transfer emerging tonight from his agent.
Seems like we were open to trying to make the deal work even after the medical, but then Fekir’s brother and his lawyer gatecrashed negotiations and started demanding commission, and then the player himself started acting a tit to the Liverpool representatives.
Sounds like a proper bullet dodged.
Btw, Red Dead 1 was also pretty wank. It got pass for a lot of shit by virtue of being pretty.

Son deserves better than to just be the guy who bails Spurs out when Kane takes his annual spring holiday.
Rockstar's games have some of the most overrated gameplay i've ever seen but quite possibly the worst part of GTA & RDR is the character movement lag, it's like they did a work exchange day & gave away all their programmers & brought Lukaku in to do it instead.
I love all Rockstar games.
Played every single one of them since GTA on the PS1.
Even LA Noire I enjoyed it.

Some extremely poor opinions on RDR2 which I can understand tbqh (although I congratulate the bravery of openly publishing them), but even then the ignorance of mods is deafening and/or stultifying.
I can't say anything bad about RDR2 because I've had no desire to play it. I did enjoy the first one a lot though.
I wasn't feeling the gunplay at first but it all changed when I removed auto aim
Don't help me thank you

RDR2 is great. Controls can sometime be fucky but man... what a world. What a great set of characters.
I can't fucking wait to see what they can do with non-potato hardware in GTA6.

Rockstar games just dont feel good to play.
Brilliant immersive worlds, I just dont want to interact with it, and they wont change so long as the games media and sycophants refuse to keep buying knee-pads every time hey drop one of their tank simulators.

GTA 5 was perfect imo. Loved the gameplay loved the story. The only thing I sort of disliked was the Helicopter controls
Love GTA V and replayed it probably 3-4 times. RDR2 I really enjoyed while playing, but tried to restart and find it such a slog at the beginning I have no desire to push ahead. Not interested in the animal hunting, plant picking, RPG elements of it at all. Very pretty game tho.
RDR is the only Rockstar game I finished. My opinion of it is quite middling and my issue similar to the one I have with all GTA's.
The gameplay is always the same basic loop get mission at A drive/run/fly/boat/horseback to B do something most of the time involving shooting and then get to C.
During this loop you get a bunch of dialogue with secondary characters. Die anywhere during the mission be sure to redo a lot of traveling and a lot of listening to dialogue you just heard. And the further a long you progress in missions the farther apart mission areas A/B/C are.
At least that's why I always dropped each GTA starting with Vice City at some point.
Haven't yet encountered any side activity I had as much fun with in a Rockstar game as I had with the cabaret and RC-cars Minigame in Yakuza 0.

The heist mission in GTA is still one of the best missions I've ever played. GTA 5 was good because the world was so immersive but game wasn't that great itself.
Sure there are games that "play" much better but as entertainment experiences R* only consistently bettered by naughty dog. As much as I enjoy good games I prioritise a great experience.

By confuziz Go To PostIt's either half-life, ff7, alttp, OoT or
Timesplitters 2
Fallout 3 is better than all of those
The correct answer to best game is Chrono Trigger.

must be really awkward for Inter having our former criminal mastermind leading their club and being managed by our doped up cheater. If you can't beat them...

RDR & the sequel are both absolutely fantastic.
Totally understand the complaints about input lag and gameplay variety for 2, but ultimately the experience is much more than just these things. To build that world and to make the player react to Arthur’s story in the way that they do is peerless, so just enjoy the bits that are so far ahead of other games. There’s so much to enjoy just trotting around and interacting with the characters within the world, I just wished they did more to make the world itself more interactive. Then it might truly feel replayable. It’s an experience that shouldn’t be given a numerical score - it’s pointless.
First game I played on a new 50 inch 4K TV and it felt like I’d jumped a generation ahead.
Still need to play The Witcher 3.

At last Poch has done what everyone wanted, team sheet looks good. Dier in the middle, balance in attack, no Rose or Aurier. Wanyama not in the squad.
