"I'm sure I'm in the history of football for what I have done and what I'm continuing to do, but one of the best players in history," the Portugal captain added.
"For me, the number one in history, but for some fans, if the number one is another one and I'm second, it doesn't matter.
"I know I'm in the history of football as one of the greatest ever."

By Laboured Go To PostAnd no Nketiah either. Bring back Aliadiere. The way Martin Tyler used to pronounce that name in FIFA used to trigger me so bad.
Really curious to see how De Ligt will handle Felix and Costa tonight. If he were with Ajax I wouldn't break a sweat. But with this new (to him) play style and (fucking) again playing from the left I fear the worst.

FIFA has some weird things like that. I remember the Dutch commentator always saying "Eyong Tarkang Enoh" when Enoh was on the ball. And he said with a weird voice too.

A mate in high school used to say that randomly some times as well.

Add Ramos and that's possible the strongest 11 that the team has.

It's your third year in a row you're in the EL. Maybe it's time to accept your faith and try to win the tournament if your club is too good for that tournament anyways.

Have we lost 4-2 yet?

If Matthijs were to be positioned on the right things would already be better for him. I also hate the fact that he can't really setup the attack from the back at Juve. It's like they're ignoring one of his prime qualities. An assist like he gave in the game against Germany during the international break is probably something we can't expect him doing for Juve.

We are EL but I still hate that shit
You know, De Ligt is having a hard time adjusting to Italian football and playing out of position. Frenkie arrived in a dead end team surrounded by players who either don't fully trust him yet or are just fucking daft. I mean, in the 30 minutes Messi was on the pitch Frenkie and him had the most interaction between each other. At least the maestro sees Frenkie for what he is.
I can only dream of the things that could have happened if the boys were to stay home. And it annoys me that I don't see them shine for their new club yet either.

we don't even have our best XI yet
Spurs allowed 17 attempts this game. Almost all of them off target, but still. Trying to replicate that narrow group stage escape from last year already.

Absolutely horrible performance. We had 56% of the ball and they had double the number of shots, that tells you something is badly wrong.
Imagine if none of the English teams win their first games. Yikes. Cmon, City.

By Scum Go To PostBring me another striker, Usho.Tot'num need the #prospect Pogba.
We need a midfield, Eriksen’s head has gone and Ndombele is a fat bloke, everything stems from our shoddy play in the centre. Poch has to start looking to the future and find a way to score goals without relying on Eriksen and protect our defense properly.
