Lots of black market tickets go unsold especially in Italy. I mean, we're almost always officially sold out, but in reality, the stadium is not really full aside from the curva.
On CL nights we're completely sold out. If you wanna pay a lot extra you might have a chance but it's not realistic to think you can buy a ticket for a decent price on matchday. Unless you're lucky enough to have someone you know who can't make it to the game anymore for some reason.
During our succesfull EL year I was lucky enough my mom still worked for one of the bigger sponsors (former shirt sponsor) so I was able to get tickets for the game against Lyon. Sadly she switched jobs.
