Also, I have to concede
If I have Wenger on one hand and The Charlatan in the other
I pick
Arsenio
Today's performance looked like he thought we were playing Liverpool or City
Instead we were playing the fucking worst United in a quarter of a century
No desire to win, coward performance. No ambition, just terrible.
Appointment didnt work out. Need to seriously look at new head coaches for next season.

For us, I’m being a teensy hyperbolic. Tuanzebe was very good overall, despite the mistake. That happens. Didn’t let it fluster him. Absolutely looks ready for first team football.
McTominay leading by example too; driving forward, not afraid to take the game by the scruff of the neck. He isn’t good enough, but that’s okay, not his fault. Blame lies with the club rather than him.
James decent again, Pogba put an effort in at least. Maguire decent with the ball.
But both the teams that played tonight are in real danger of letting sides like Leicester, arguably West Ham - sides with first choice XIs and a plan for what they want to play like - overtake them. It’s pure arrogance to think we’re entitled to it, when the likes of Leeds, Forest, Blackburn, Bolton all suffer below the Prem.

This mirrors my thoughts as well. Tuanzebe looked solid, and it's not even his natural position, right?
First half was utter dross. Pepe looks off the pace, big time. Still plenty of time to get with it though.
Tuanzebe is a CB, sometimes RB. He has played DM (which has generally been bad), and this is the first time he's played LB at a high level.
Both clubs have amassed a lot of really stupid footballers who aren't helped by the fact that their respective coaches aren't good enough.
Rashford tried but he’s injured and shit. Tuanzebe did fine. McTom was great. The rest filled the space.

Young should have been struck by lightning,
So many unforced errors and out right brain-farts.
Hate how slow we are with the ball. City the other day, Mahrez pops it back to KdB and first time ball is an assist. Pereira and Young constantly took an age today to cross or pass.
McTom is the only one with grinta left in the middle.
Im starting to think that not getting top 6 would be a good idea. It would be terrible financially for United, and that would actually be a good thing.
Of course, it would be harder for United to get good players next transfer season but that also means that the Glazers and Woodward will suffer more, and that's another good thing.

I've noticed we're incapable of hitting accurate long balls in the build up (Pogba is sometimes a sole exception). We take three safe short passes where a riskier long ball would build up our attack so much quicker and open up the game. It's a sign that our players lack basic technical skill and any semblance of confidence.

The other day everyone was zipping passes back and forth, one touch football, then Barkley gets it and he takes ages on the ball. Pls don’t play him again Frank

Its confidence. Saw it many times, the first time option is ignored for a safer sideways option.
Technical skill and confidence feed each other.

Worse than Axel's pass tbh.
By which I mean drop Lindelof for Axel until such a time that Lindelof might generally sort his shit out.
