My Brazilian mate here in Seoul went to London recently and asked for restaurant recommendations. I haven't eaten out in London for 10 years, so sent him Kid's list. He went to Roka and also Hix for Sunday lunch, and he loved them. Dude is really in to fine dining, so Kid's list is legit.
By Kidjr Go To PostTake any pics? Where did you eat, and what did you do?
I took a lot of pics, yeah. Dinner at Heston's in Knightsbridge is the best food I've ever eaten in my life. Also ate at Hawksmoor (great), Blue Boar (great), Beijing Dumpling in China Town (incredible, probably the best Chinese food), had Wafflemeister waffles (highly recommend), and a few little sit downs here and there while visiting museums and stuff. Oh, and Nandos at Gatwick. Paul's Cafe and Cafe Nero are a nice change from Starbucks.
The city is laid out really cool too. The absolute lack of stop signs is hilarious, and the drivers (especially cabs) are ruthless! Also noticed a lot of Russians, stopped and spoke to a few too. LOL. Turns out there's 200K living in London today.

Bump from the dead...
But I can't get this city out of my head. Not a day has gone by that I haven't thought about London. I also dream about it frequently and can't wait to go back again.

If you give me notice and you're ever in town I can show you a great evening curated to your taste.

I got to do so much while I was there and explore. But sure, if I come back, having a little guide would be great.

Yes, but truth be told, I was never enamored with NYC even when I became old enough to drive and explore it on my own. It was always dirty and ugly to me.
A lot of restaurants and pubs have adapted to covid restrictions by building big marquees and heated outdoor areas so you can meet with up to 6 people
By AlphaSnacks Go To PostFuckin A do I miss London every day…lol
