Want to be completely clear that I will do a complete u-turn on everything I said yesterday about Dybakla if he does come. That is my guarantee to you.

By Bold 2 in One Go To PostHeavy D?Don't you know this classic?
Sounds like a Hideo Kojima character.
By Arnie Go To PostReally don’t understand this attitude and never will. The only credible position we could strengthen is one more huge player in attack, but given we have some pretty special circumstances in backup how can we realistically do that?If Liverpool wanted to improve there's plenty of positions they could. They could've bought a better centre back to partner Van Dijk, they need a better backup left back, a goalscoring box to box midfielder would be a massive upgrade especially when you've got players like Henderson on their last legs & a proper backup for Firmino would also improve what you've got. Being soft & saying you can't tell average players like Origi, Brewster or Shaqiri they're going to play less is exactly the reason why Liverpool won't be good enough again to win the league.
You can’t say to Origi you aren’t playing. You can’t say to Brewster you aren’t playing. You can’t say to Shaqiri that you’re playing less games than last season.
Do you want to buy Bruno Fernandes and bin off a midfielder who helped us win a European Cup?
Where realistically should we have spent big? And on who? This transfer window has been a shit time to buy for everyone.
By Flutter Go To PostThis firesale is getting ridiculous.Rugani barely plays, he's a backup.
same for Dybala tbh
Surely, Dybala can't remain at Juve
Ditto Lukaku at United
Bale at RM.
All of their positions just seem so untenable.

And there’s a reason Klopp has built multiple teams who have the character to win titles, because he knows how to get the mentality right. Just bringing in star names to replace people who’ve literally had the best season in the club’s history is the dumbest transfer strategy I’ve ever heard.
But then it’s you.

This isn't a moment for many words, this isn't a moment to lift your head up, it's a moment to lower down your head and to think about the errors we made and we should never make them again!Definitely doesn't feel like a goodbye.
This is a moment to think on what made us win the cups we won last year and that the union and comradery that we had and lead us to those conquests!
I take this opportunity to thank and apologize to all those who went to the stadium of Algarve or from home supported us!
Dont feel Shaq did. Was pretty great at the beginning but fell off fast. Origi definitely did though.
Give us the lad Dybakla and in return we shall bestow on J Ronaldo's chosen heir André Miguel Valente da Silva.

At the moment feeling a bit indifferent about Cancelo even if it's a nice signing. Price is good and Danilo is totally disposable as a 2nd choice RB but I don't think Joao make us better though. Always good to have solid depth though and I rate him higher so that's nice. Whoscored said he played two games on the left last season but I am not sure if he's going to offer quite as much flexibility in general as Danilo.
By Flutter Go To PostDont feel Shaq did. Was pretty great at the beginning but fell off fast. Origi definitely did though. He showed up in two of our biggest games of the season in United and Barcelona.
I just don’t believe throwing out players who proved they are elite is the right thing for us to do, and Klopp also doesn’t want to do that. It’s not good squad building. It doesn’t make players feel valued and will trickle down into the squad.
I also don’t know who these mythical players are that improve our squad so dramatically.
By Flutter Go To Posttruly wonderful
he will do well under pep
if citeh sign a couple more players they will turn into benfica manchester
shoulda gotten semedo before he went to barca innit
any other season a team that got 97 points and basically kept things the same would be completely unremarkable. Liverpool shouldn't throw out their strategy to chase oil-fueled cheats.

Fergie used to sell off underachieving players and bought in new ones to keep everyone on their toes and not be complacent. Can't say that didn't work out well for him.
However on Klopp's side it's a fucking terrible market to buy players at the moment. Not to mention while Liverpool won the CL, the players must be hungry to win the EPL title that has eluded the club for decades. I don't think we'll see a complacent Liverpool side this season.
There's also the fact that it's crazy to compare City's depth to any other club other than PSG. It's close to impossible unless you are state funded. Now there's United in 2007, but think that took some time and luck to get to that stage.

The fact is Liverpool don't have a team with obvious terrible players mixed in with great ones anymore, they have a first choice team with a mixture of elite to good players & a below average bench. That didn't win the league last year because there's another team that are better than you because they have more elite players in their starting 11 & a significantly better bench. You won't beat Man City just by having bonding sessions singing kumbaya & talking about the best place to get fake tooth implants so white they'll melt your retinas if you look directly at them, you have to improve the areas which aren't as good as Man City's. Anything less will more than likely lead to failure again, sentimental value holds so many managers & teams back.
I need to say Doicare has been fucking on point past few days with his posts imo.
Liverpool will still be better than the rest, but you're not getting 97 points again where I think man city are more likely to get over 100 points.

There is no hypocrisy, Pogba is already here and it would be daft to let him go for less than what he's worth.
We just got the shake down from fucking Lester for 'Arry for 80 fucking million.
We'll listen to reasonable offers.

Yes, you’re right, let’s spend £100m and piss off important members of the squad to literally, maybe get two more points.
By J Ciaran Go To PostPretty simple:
Answer
1. Nobody was willing to pay the amount United want for him.
2. There's no obvious replacement Ole can buy that would be as good or would want to join United.
3. This season there's already a lot of transfers required, adding Pogba to the mix would just make things more complicated.

Or
Maybe
You’re continuing to underestimate this team
you guys place too much value on point tallies. Neither side would've been pushed that far if it weren't for the other breathing down their necks
With Woodward you not only need to get a playmaker to replace Pogba, but also someone that can take his place to attract the sponsors.
