By Doicare Go To PostIt's good to see you shot down all the facts i posted by replying with your own counter facts instead of posting a few opinions with some tame sarcasm. This is what football is really about <3
Ok...
Again no not all. Apart from the fact Wolves have to play in Europe this year which will stretch their squad they haven't strengthened their squad more than United have & under Ole United scored more points per game than under Mou so a full season under Ole is already more points without anything else changing.
- You also have to play Europa football. It will stretch their squad, like it will yours (you obviously have more depth, but they should have enough squad quality to get through the group stage which is the most intense time in terms of fixtures)
- You've plugged a couple of gaps, yes, Wolves have made a pretty solid signing themselves. I think their harmony both in the squad and the fanbase counts for a lot though and you saw that in their results towards the end of the season. Your disharmony in the squad and the fans caused some terrible form at the end of the season, and it seems like there's still plenty of unaddressed issues on that front going into this one...
- That's just....not how it works and you know it.
Having Niles and Jenkinson as your options to play as RB is not acceptable
These cunts will cost us a lot of points until Bellerin is back. We needed to go for loan on this critical position.

Shame we didn't sell Mignolet sooner. Would've liked us to try for Heaton.
Signing Adrian on a free wouldn't be bad business either though.

There m9. Now you can end you #obsession with United.

This season Wolves will have to play more games & it will be harder for them than last year.
By Willkiller Go To PostYou've plugged a couple of gaps, yes, Wolves have made a pretty solid signing themselves.Wolves haven't made any significant signings to their first choice 11, they've just signed up players they had on loan & a few squad players. On the other hand United have signed significant upgrades to their first choice 11.

Manchester United were crippled by injuries while having to play a game every 3-4 days for 2 months, United had more injuries than any other team in the whole league & most of their injuries happened during the busiest time of the season. The few players left over that weren't injured became fatigued from having to play so many games.

The Tier system is flawed. Times have been close to flawless when it comes to news about a lot of clubs, and I dont think they have pushed any bad leads in recent times.
Think with Paul Hirst is that he's doing something different than Stone, Peach, etc. He's not a mouthpiece for the club and is more free to report things that the club doesn't want to address. The Jose problem in the last pre season was a good example. I handwaved it at the time but in retrospect, he was most probably right.
Think the Dybala situation is not entirely dead in the water. Juventus clearly wants to sell him, but even if that doesn't happen they'll probably find someone else to offload. They seem desperate to balance their books and while I dont think a financial injection from their owner is impossible, I'm sure that's a last resort case.
Dybala can also forget about Spain. Barca can't afford him and he doesn't play well with Messi, and RM has plenty of players that are already playing in his position.

Tier system is fine. Stone, Norwood, etc. only comment when things are imminent and they've been briefed or confirmed first hand, so it's the closest thing to fact.
Everything else you can write down to speculation, rumors, educated guesses, embellishment, etc. until one of the above confirms. You can also exercise common sense with the kind of news you are reading, for example, Madrid offering 30m+ Hamez for Pogba vs Stone saying Maguire is done.
The only problem with the tier system is dry cunts who take banter and transfer muppetry too seriously.

I dunno why a swap with James isn't on the cards yet
he's probably what we're looking for, even though I don't rate him.

I'm just saying it's flawed Inky, even if some things are inaccurate it's a good thing a lot of clubs have it as a sort of cheat sheet on who's reliable.
It was one of the tier 1 journalist (i forgot which) in a podcast that said that United's is not that accurate, and some reporters should be higher on the list. You're right that we should exercise common sense, which is why I think Hirst should be higher, and even more Luckhurst even though he's an ass in the past.

So pretty much every big football journo there is all just announced they are at The Athletic this morning.
Subscribed to The Athletic. Very interested to see how it goes.
£30m plus Hames is absolutely hilarious and further proof that Madrid are skint at this stage. I think that’s the worst part about their transfer dealings, they use their media outlets and ex players to get other team’s players into a frenzy but they can’t even afford them.
Can’t wait for the day they come for £200m+ Salah or Mane. Good luck trying to offer us Nacho you absolute shite hawks.
Absolutely horrendous, wasn’t it. Taking out billboards like Tevez had just switched sides. Built his reputation on having a lot of social media followers which during an audit turned out to be largely bots.

By Flutter Go To Postwanted to post about football journalists and The Athletic but realised it's so pointless really. In what way? I think it could work, and beyond The Athletic the entire process has meant big pay rises and promotions for existing staff at other outlets. It’s a good thing for everyone.
Reading through their content there is a lot of good stuff. Almost too much. Just read a huge profile on Stuart Webber at Norwich and how he’s evolved the team for the Premier League.

As someone who has found the quality of football writing to be exclusively shit over the years, I'm going to take the free trial and see if it can change my mind
By Flutter Go To PostWell no, just basically would rather talk about the articles that will be released than the transfers of journalists.Yea the whole “this is why I joined” stuff is tedious and very self-important.
Guess RM mouthpieces are going all in on wanting Paul Pogba at their club.
