So yeah, should be close. smh
We have no match this weekend. Just waiting for the game of the season next wednesday. Champions League, yes or no, the story continues.

according to Dybala's agent, the stories circulating about agent fees being the hurdle were not true, the deal fell through between Juve and United.
Good job guys

So disappointed with Emery yesterday. Never seen such stupidity. Was suicidal playing it out from the back like we did. Just invited constant pressure from Liverpool. With our first choice team not being available yet, we don't have the players able to build up play for 99 yards. I can only feel that Emery thought he was vindicated by Pepe's miss that the style was working. I didn't think Liverpool looked that good from open play in the first half, and in the second half all that pressure finally took its toil. Last twenty minutes of possession meant nothing as Liverpool had switched off to rest.
Only joy from the game was that Pepe looked good. His feetwork was fantastic. Constantly able to turn and make Liverpool players look foolish and left behind. He really should have scored, but I think when the first comes then the floodgates will open.
I watched the game in a Liverpool fan bar in Seoul. Was a really nice interior with all memorabilia, such as signed shirts. Terrible selection of drinks. Was even worse as I had to pay $15 to actually watch the game, so the loss hurt even more haha. Was sad that Liverpool fans seemed to care more about other teams losing than their own team winning. There was more cheering for Palace's goals and win than during the Arsenal game.

Was disappointed yesterday that we didn't score about 5. Not sure what that Arsenal set up was - if every side plays like this at Anfield we'll have 19 wins. Can't really draw any conclusions on Pepe either. He probably won't get the same space against any other side in the league, so will be interesting to see him against a deep block.

This is not me doing a Doicare, btw. I genuinely want to know.
Eh, not bothered about the loss. Real test is Spurs next week, have to improve in that game. We're nowhere near Liverpool or City's level yet. No point trying to compete with them.
I want to see us really lay down a marker today and produce a complete performance. We need to go back to winning this type of game without getting out of second gear, not sweating and scrapping to the last seconds even against bottom feeders. We have to stop these stupid slow starts.
Newcastle have won the last 3 games at WHL and then there’s was the famous 5-1 at SJP a few years ago, our recent results against them have been mortifying so this will be a good indicator of where we are. Son is back so no excuses.

Oh right, it’s the Pogba stuff?
Sorry, when I’m typing it I know it’s annoyingly repetitive. I will stop. I was just watching MOTD and saw him give the ball away stupidly which led to the Palace winner. Which is the crux of my criticism since he joined United and it’s just further evidence to my point. Happy to disagree with almost everyone on it, though.

If football gets you too pissed, do a flabber and pick something else to watch.
That said, this year's The International has been pretty good so far.

damn we played like shit
tragic stuff
not a single shot on target
dominated at home by a team of bums
lage picked the wrong players and strategy, he shoulda have known you needed more criteria in the midfield or our players were not gonna be able to create for the entire game until taraabt came on. seferovic is truly a brainless player, and needs at least 10 clear chances a game to score one.

Adam Johnson has more Premier Legaue assists (11) than Jesse Lingard (10) in the last 6 years. Adam Johnson has been in jail for the last 3 years.

I also think Lingard benefits from scoring some big goals in big games (he scored in multiple cup finals, right?)
But yes, he’s shit and shouldn’t be near United’s first XI

Palace beating United was an upset of sorts, where pretty much everyone but you expected Arsenal to lose at Anfield. They probably weren’t cheering as much because 3-1 was a disappointing scoreline given the sheer domination by Liverpool.
Lingard is in a perpetual state where's he's still a young upcoming talent.
Never mind this is supposedly his prime years.
Have to love this club persisting with deadwood. Certain guys can do no wrong.

Top 4 is going to be such a massive stretch I don’t see what the harm would be in giving Gomes a few games in Lingard’s position. Throw the rest of our eggs into the Europa League basket.
J Lingz would struggle to get a game at any other top 14 club, let alone be in their first 11.
