the toss up between Ole and Zidane still looks even. Except Zidane has much much better players to work with

By Xpike Go To Postthink any back 4 in the world will be scared of Pepe after todayThis is WILD.
Madrid teams constantly bottling it in the league for the past two years is the only reason we are still stuck with Valverde.

I am pleased to inform you that your application to the EU Settlement Scheme has been
successful and that you have been granted Indefinite Leave in the United Kingdom,
under Appendix EU to the Immigration Rules. This is also referred to as settled status.
Thank you, Boris.

Let’s not get too carried away, he played like Adama Traore today. Looked great until he had to actually do something.
No doubt he will improve, though.
i'm going to have to agree with rvp, one of the greatest footballers to have ever lived, when he asks himself: "what is emery's philosophy?"
no really what is it
or am i being too cynical

Thought Pepe was really unsure with his feet, and obviously his finishing looked ropey. Good acceleration though. And clearly cuts in well.
Thought Arsenal in general just looked crap. It was like they built everything around being narrow which got bummed out of existence within 5 minutes.

There was a moment in the second half where Gini Wijnaldum basically kills Arsenal football club. It was fairly special.
Porto beating Benfica 0-2 at Estádio da Luz, I wasn't expecting that at all.
Perfectly fair result, Porto has been far better and more dangerous than Benfica, I only remember one clear goal chance from Benfica.

By J Ciaran Go To PostI mean, I always ask myself how low can you go to get a penalty? It's disgusting.
ahaha

My word that Napoli game.
Is Serie A shown anywhere on UK TV?
The La Liga and Serie A situation is so depressing. Why can’t any one of the big boys just get it.

By Elliott Go To PostWhat the fuck is happening in this Fiorentina gameVAR excellence.
Wait...rashford took a penalty today and missed?
💀💀💀
Like I said when people criticised Pogba...had the keeper jumped the other way "great composed penalty" is all you would have seen

lowkey decent going forward lately
Nedved is saying we ain't done in the market while Paratici is saying our squad is #complete. I know who to believe
the unassigned #9

Just saw Schalke fans whine that VAR fucked them over with Bayern getting away with two hand balls that should have been penalties. And naturally, I didn't believe it because Schalke fans, you know.
But after having seen a video... oh wow. That's some serious bullshit. Even with hand ball rulings being all over the place, that's almost Mertens like.

I hope DDG isn't finished. Offering him a bumper contract soon and if he still carries on from last season.
Whew.
Whew.
Lindelof for that Ayew goal...
*JoelMatipHands*
And Pogba just giving the ball away in central midfield for Palace’s second hahahaha

we should've been creating more with all that possession in the 1st half. Everything was just too slow and tbf as soon as Lingard was taken off we looked livelier in attack. defence should have handled that 2nd goal better too. De Gea weak at his near post.
By Arnie Go To PostThe La Liga and Serie A situation is so depressing. Why can’t any one of the big boys just get it.Just as dire here in the States. La Liga is on Bein which no one has but Dish Network. Their player works like shit on Windows and Android so subbing directly to them only isn't a real option.
Those Qatar cunts have the rights to Libertadores too which also pisses me off.
Serie A's rights are owned by espn but they never put any of the big matches on tv. They're trying to get people subscribed to Espn+ so all the good matches are behind that paywall. They only put garbage matches on tv like Spal vs Verona.
The defense did its job on that second goal. AWB stopped the first one. Challenged the second one. It was in a low percentage angle. De Gea let us down there. Increasingly often

But how did Matip get on today? 🌚
By batong Go To PostLindelöf lost a header but that space behind him should have been covered tbfPretty much, CP took advantage of the fact that Maguire was trying to also occupy Shaw's space because he was injured.
Missing headers happens. It was a good strategic choice for a long ball at that time.
By Dan Go To PostNeed 3 points today, no excuses.
You’ll get them. Bournemouth always feels like a banana skin but they’re fairly shit once you put them under a bit of pressure.
By Dan Go To PostNeed 3 points today, no excuses. You'll be one up in three minutes. Our only hope is Harry Wilson's left foot.
I've woken up in a fantastic mood. Just walking around the house singing the Wijnaldum song. Yesterday was sensational from start to finish. You just can't beat destroying Arsenal, and the gulf in quality between the two teams was so big. Loads of their fans on my train home and just talking about the chasm between the two teams.
Barcelona v Betis tonight should be excellent, although I expect the Super Sunday fixtures to be a washout.
