You'd win the EPL or qualify for CL no doubt
Gomes is going to be one of those players that has a belter year on loan, and then goes to shit as soon as the deal is made permanent.
The Adebayor effect.

It seems that the issues between Bas Dost's agent and Sporting have been resolved, the transfer should be official announced tomorrow.
Bas Dost was great for the club but it was time to move on.
His wages are enough to pay 3 or 4 players and right now he was most likely a sub.

By FootbalIFan Go To PostAnd just like that dost goes from hero to being thrown in the binFrankfurt is richer than us and even them won't pay him much as we were.
Disgusting
He is the kind of player that needs a whole team working for him and when things don't go his way, he switches off.
That's exactly why he quit the national team at 28.
Love the guy but his heart wasn't in it anymore.
He started ahead of Luiz Phyllpe a few times just because of the status he had when Luiz was on better form, might not score as Dost once did but he helps the team more.
Dost will work better on Frankfurt as they play with two men up front a lot and that's more suitable for him.
Wish him all the best and I will watch Frankfurt matches because of him.
Our first game of the season tomorrow and I'm way too excited for what likely turn out to be a shitshow
Bakla false 9 to score a hattrick tho.
Juve just needed to flare the hand a little to unleash the bakla,

Il comandante will get us to the promised land. It'll probably take a while for things to gel, especially defensively. Massive change.
I think the most worrying part is that we still don't have a de facto XI.

Hopefully Ramsey replaces Khedira as soon as he's able. RIP Can, we hardly knew ye.

Can will be fine, he's a beast.

Inter cannot be allowed to win the league, we've spent a decade teaching Italy new math.
By J Ciaran Go To PostCan will be fine, he's a beast. From what little I saw he looked like a fish out of acqua in Sarri's football. Just not compatible, imo.
When it became clear Ramsey wasn't extending his contract I remember telling the Arse cunts that I'd take him on a free and they looked at me funny, like he was some below average player.
Now he's Juve's hope. Well, at least hope for the medical team. He'll keep them on the job for years. Unbreaking the breakable.

Really? (a genuine really)
IIRC (sounds like I don't) he looked quite decent. I think he marshalled the whole midfield once when he came on lol
Can doesn't have the positioning, tactical acumen and technique to work in an ideal Sarri mid.
Could come in handy in certain situations, but he's never going to be a starter.

By Perfect Blue Go To PostWhat was your favourite part?
I mentioned my favourite part(s) in this post: http://slaent.com/thread/1784828/page/1/post/1786966/
can't really pick out a single favourite. a really nice thing that happened to me was getting caught in the rain coming out of a subway station without an umbrella, so I was waiting around for the rain to end when this old Japanese lady who was heading into the station came up to me and gave me her umbrella. Tried refusing but she kept insisting on giving it to me, really nice people.
my least favorite part of the trip was how lonely I felt after my friend who was with me for 3 days had to leave for his town. Just wasn't the same wandering around Tokyo alone.
That was different for me I guess. Had a kick out of wandering Tokyo alone. Then again Ive always been that way.

oh I enjoyed wandering alone too but sometimes the loneliness just kicked in.
Speaking of wandering, I was wandering around the Meguro area after visiting the Kosoan teahouse and I stumbled upon this store called Persian Bazaar which was selling Iranian/Persian carpets. I was so excited to find it so I walked in just to talk with the store owner who was this Japanese lady who could speak Farsi, she had an Iranian husband. We talked for about half an hour and it felt really nice.

Nah, he never really felt rated for the national team. And he was a bit of a pussy about it, he expects to start every game but that's not how these things work. It made him feel unhappy he said.
Still too bad we didn't had the chance to buy him. We were so close to a transfer back in the day. Ever since that transfer saga we know Dost is sleeping in his Ajax pyjamas. So two of our most known supporters went to his club Heerenveen and presented him pyjamas.
Action at 1:10
Spending the day with my mum then off to Anfield to battle for those top of the league cigars. Could be a very wholesome day.

Good luck for today mate, should be a great game tbh
By Kidjr Go To PostGood luck for today mate, should be a great game tbhYea the last Arsenal match I went to was the 4 nil when Salah scored from the counter attack. Good times.
This is a much better Arsenal team, though. Should be a great game for everyone.

I'm coming to give you so much shit if we win, so much.
Expect a draw atleast tbh
I expect us to win, but won't be too surprised if we don't owing to our performances so far. Hope we bring our backline towards our goal a good 10 yards or so, we'll get hammered down the wings if we don't.
Will be disappointed if we go for the full clank in midfield, though I'm not sure if the alternative is all that great since Keita is injured, and Ox is still refinding his fitness and form.

And it’ll be good enough imo
More bothered about our back five than the six in front
If Adrian does anything other than instantly hammer every ball at his feet as far up the pitch as he can, I'll hitchhike up there and batter him.
