Jesus.
Christ.
speaking of transport, TFL charged me the maximum fare the other day for a trip, 22 quid ggrrrrrr
Realised that its probably because i used the card on touch in and the app on the phone on the way out.
Lazy of them to not recognise it as the same signal #firstworldissues.

pls accept bud for who he is
By Bold 2 in One Go To PostFuck,it was probably the same person, they played several songs but luckily i was just far away enough i could ignore them while also feeling deeply ashamed at the state of the country that people would try such a thing

Kind of hoping Wanyama doesn’t go to Club Brugge
His qualities as a defensive midfielder are exceptional. Obviously the club know more about the state of his knee than I do, but I reckon he’s still the best player we have in that position and selling him will create a short term weakness that we don’t need

By Laboured Go To PostWould've happily taken Victor to play instead of Matic this season.
Would get you that Kenyan betting partner as well
He's an incredible destroyer, but a bit limited on the ball and slow these days.
Will never forget that goal agianst Barcelona though, legend.

He’s only limited in his range of passing imo
He’s actually very good at moving the ball in tight spaces, makes the right decisions, executes perfectly unlike Sissoko, and most importantly he know his limits
I didn’t expect him to be as good as he is to be honest, but fully fit Wanyama from 3-4 years ago would be first choice for me in midfield over anyone else we have now

Both his knees are fucked, he can barely train without picking up niggles. It was sad to watch him last season, constantly behind the play, losing duels, falling over, he can’t do the job anymore. It’s sad but he can’t carry on at this level of football.
If he were fully fit and in his best condition then I agree he’d be the first name on the team sheet, but he’s never going back to the level of 16/17. The fact that his only offers are from Belgium and Turkey says it all.

By Linius Go To PostLol, how the fuck did Lee Cattermole end up in Venlo of all places. Tell me more Hixx.
He agreed to cancel (they say cancel but they're just spreading his wages over extra years instead of crippling us for the next 2 years...) his contract because he wanted to play abroad before he retired. His hip is totally fucked so I doubt he will be there long.

Oh well, it's VVV Venlo mate. They're a club that bounces back and forth between Eredivisie and the league below. I do wonder what they're gonna pay him, it can't be much. But nice to see a true English hero consider VVV Venlo as an adventure abroad. Actually, as a Dutchman I also consider Limburg as an adventure abroad.
By confuziz Go To PostI'm serious
You're miles ahead of us
I definitely think we have a wider and better squad than you guys have. But tactically there's still a lot of work to do. Besides that, you and I both know that PSV and Ajax will win most of their games. The Eredvisie is just too weak for us currently. So even if we had a squad like Manchester City it could still be an interesting title race since PSV will also keep winning their games. Just like last year. Where we also had more quality, a great European run but almost missed out on the league title.
He'll probably be on next to nothing wages wise. He's made millions and millions from Sunderland and is still "owed" millions so...
What a mess.
What a mess.

Surely they are just being polite and trying to save face? How can he “manage” the team during the week but not during an actual match? Does that mean that he still picks the starting XI? It’s daft.

Does that mean that he still picks the starting XI? It’s daft.To be fair, player-manager is a pretty insane concept in this day and age. There's too much going on to try and make it work. Unfortunately for him Simon Davies is bad so it was incredibly strange he brought him a long in the first place to be the coach. I am guessing Vinnie will retire as a player soon -- I don't think they'll want to fire him and he obviously wants to be a manager so it doesn't make sense to throw this opportunity away.
