You are correct but I do also love a bit of Fire.
Curious if that means we're keeping Sancho next season as well. If he keeps playing like this he certainly deserves the money. But if it's all but decided he'll leave next summer, there's little incentive for us to give him a higher salary this season.

well jonas wind is dead now.
so i guess i would rather have phil jones for the rest of the year.
apparently we do videos in portrait mode now.
a malaga/leganes flop. may the gods be with us. at least he was banging for sporting gijon but... come on. was so excited to see him having scored like 50 for river plate in a 100 matches. turned out to be for the river plate in uruguay.
get bendtner as well imo
buy will grigg off us
we have charlie wyke fit now, what a fucking lad he is. gonna end up with mush for brains by the time his career finishes. brexit as fuck. love him.

Sancho staying at Dortmund for a third season is highly unlikely and the salary raise is just a preventive measure to avoid a second Dembele meltdown once Barfa or one of those sheikh clubs start to make their trademark move forcing players to go on strike.

Take away those clubs and everyone else would struggle to get him unless they put all their eggs in one basket.

It's just a measure to lift his wages towards his actual performances.
He isn't the first player where this happened and he won't be the last, the difference is that it became public.
The numbers thrown around in the UK media are obviously bullshit.
Will leave next summer for a new record fee, unless the Brexit fucks some clubs harder than expected.
United also better get in a good position for negotiations, because no CL will make it alot harder and will cost alot more.
If United gets CL, Sancho will come.

Gomes is in the final year of his contract. We'll actually need to start giving him games to convince him to stay.

By batong Go To PostSancho Gomes swap?So Gomes and €140m for Sancho?
For some reason I'm looking forward to Gomes more than Greenwood this season. I think it's prolly cus we're now actually playing with a no. 10 position, all our current first-team 10s are deficient in various ways and he could potentially be really special there.
Gomes played in the behinds closed doors game with sheff utd, we are too thin a squad not to be included.

Didn't Ribery fuck Fiorentina out of the CL once?
I like Ole having the players play friendly matches midweek to give them more time to gel.
Would like it better if we stop playing Lingard and start playing Gomes or Garner.

We'll definitely see Garner, Chong etc in the cups. We'll need to give some of our regular starters a break in those games or they'll start flagging by December. Can't expect them to keep up a high intensity press the entire season.
By Bold 2 in One Go To PostIf McSauce can be a starter Gomes and Garner need to become part of the fold,Yup. I mean, Mou basically gave McTom his debut as a joke to show up Pogba et.al., and now apparently he is undisputed starter. Ole surely can afford better players that have shown much more at youth level at least the same opportunity.

we will. lingard has to fail first and he's well on his way to doing that. i'd bet in another 3 weeks or so we'll see him being phased out.
i wouldnt spend too much time worrying about it. it's a long season.

I mean good for Sturridge for putting himself out there. That's a surprising move. I agree with Fortune though.. probably won't be that long until he's in England again.
I will be surprised if Gomes manages to usurp Lingard and Mata any time soon, but at least Sanchez potentially leaving gives him more chances.
