By Hitch Go To PostI look forward to Dan equating the annoyance we'll obviously feel when we get VAR'd to the full blown meltdown he had yesterday.I haven’t watched the match yesterday nor followed the fallout but what was the issue? Was the VAR call wrong or are City fans mad that the VAR call was right?
By Xpike Go To Posttheres a whatsapp switch group?
Yeah.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostI haven’t watched the match yesterday nor followed the fallout but what was the issue? Was the VAR call wrong or are City fans mad that the VAR call was right? The VAR call was right, at least in accordance to the stricter handball rules this season.
They are mad about that of course, but also they should've got a pen in the first half but VAR didn't call it.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostI haven’t watched the match yesterday nor followed the fallout but what was the issue? Was the VAR call wrong or are City fans mad that the VAR call was right?VAR call was right but they’re mad about a wrongly called pen
edit: what the lad inkinho said
By Perfect Blue Go To PostI haven’t watched the match yesterday nor followed the fallout but what was the issue? Was the VAR call wrong or are City fans mad that the VAR call was right? The latter. Add a good amount of the usual "VAR has taken the soul from football" hatred to the mix as well.
A mixture of shit rule, corrupt VAR, clear and obvious, what about the penalty, joy of the game, city will never din. The kind of thing Paddy Power have read out in a stupid voice.
By Dan Go To PostArnie, do you fear being VAR'd?Not really. Until it happens to us in any meaningful way it remains a ray of light in what is otherwise a large Saudi Arabian cloud.
I do think the communication in the stadium needs to be better. As silly as it might first feel I think they need an NFL style microphone system to provide basic information to the crowd.
“Goal under review. Possible handball.”

They had that at other games on Saturday with a female announcer that sounded automated. Bizarre the Etihad didn't have the same system.
By Laboured Go To PostThey had that at other games on Saturday with a female announcer that sounded automated. Bizarre the Etihad didn't have the same system. That’s good. Because it will solve a lot of the problems on communication. Obviously if people aren’t hearing it it isn’t great - I also think it should be the job of one of the live officials. Surely the fourth official could do it.
Leicester look dangerous here.

am I right in saying that Old Trafford and Anfield don't have the typical big screens that they put the dreaded big text up on?

By Flutter Go To PostMaddison would be a huge upgrade on LingardYou could've signed him for a couple of mil.
Maddison seems like a stupid footballer. That was the third time he takes the wrong decision in a promising position.

They've had him for a year.
Chelsea just stretch the pitch too much for their own good. That's exactly what Leicester want.
Mou is right that having 4 players on top not defending as a block is gonna cause them so many problems. Npuffdiddy just making up for his mistake innit. In FM scores he'd be at 6.8 so bang average :P

By Laboured Go To PostThey've had him for a year.Oh. Thought they bought him. Looks a good player.
Will be interesting to see if Lampard can find a way to tweak his strategy to deal with teams that manages to find a chink in their armor, or he just makes subs to get fitter players and hope it makes the difference.
I forgot Willian was still at Chelsea. And then I remembered all the wild offers from Barcelona that Chelsea turned down.
