VAR is the greatest. The highs and lows of a match is why we love sports.
VAR does all that in the matter of minutes.

Lads. Lads. I live in a town of about 12,000 people. I have just got a young left-back and the fucker was only born in my town. Lol!
damn, if these cunts played like this every game they might have a chance at winning the league

He'll get sacked before the end of the season as this rate. Absolutely horrendous start to the season, Two points in 4 games against some of the weakest teams in the league. Can't wait for a Nasri meltdown too.

How are they trying to play? Pep-esque and failing miserably?

What a player. What a fucking player. One of the best signings we’ve made in my lifetime. Well worth the one season of absolute scenes.

I was so pissed.
I'm not pissed at the concept of VAR, but the stupid handball rule which has been changed to almost legitimise VAR and also at how it was applied unfairly during the game - the blatant penalty that was denied. They must have had a power cut, its the only explanation.
And don't get me started on the offside last week, I thought VAR was there to correct mistakes that were clearly...mistakes.
City have had a rough ride with VAR so far, but I think we will maybe more than other teams as we spend so much more time in the oppositions penalty box. But likewise, we will get our fair share of decisions that go in our favour, I hope.

Some of the goals, lads. And the commentary: 3-3, 4-3, comebacks, last minutes...
And the players. I’m seeing Valencia get assist after assist. I’m seeing buccaneering runs from Rafael and Evra. I’m seeing Chicharito and Nani buzz about. I’m seeing Shinji and Welbeck play through balls. I’m seeing Young beat people on the left hand side.
God, I miss this team.

I really wanted RVP to join City. I was pissed when they beat us to him, the difference in winning the title that season.
Sanchez though, yeah, we dodged that bullet.

Such a perfect signing. Froggie really took the title back in style.
I will always love the little boy inside him.

I think I like that year more than the Ronaldo 42 goal year as far as my favorite season by a United player.
My favorite of all his goals. As soon as Giggs sent it I put my arms up in the air. I was that certain he’d score

Man, forget about Delight. If Paratici can get rid of Higuain, Khedira, Matuidi and Mandzukic in one mercato window … that's the real masterpiece right there. Shit will require some proper voodoo magic to get done.Goddamn, this post has not aged well. Absolute shambles. Nobody wants to fucking leave.
I think Khedira might be the easiest to dispose of. Mutual contract termination, doesn't strike me as the type to put his foot down. MLS the most probable destination. 2 years on his contract still tho, so if he's not ready for that american life … there might be trouble.
Higuain could go either way. Apparently Juve have let him know in no uncertain terms that they're not counting on him for next season. He and his agent brother might sulk a bit, especially since Roma, while very interested, likely aren't going to break the bank to sign him. Paratici & co. will probably try to grease the whole situation by lowering Juve's demands as far as still within reason. Maybe a loan with obligation to buy at a heavily discounted price and a jus primae noctis on Zaniolo. Could be a quick one or complicated as fuck.
Matuidi and Mandzukic are somewhat more appetizing for potential buyers, but they'll also require a whole lot of convincing. Madzukic might be the easier of the two, since it feels like he's reached the natural conclusion of his Juve adventure. However, knowing him he'll no doubt demand a club where he's considered a starter, which might rule out the likes of Dortmund. He strikes me as someone who'd accept an EL-tier club at this point of his career, but he won't be playing for peanuts. His salary demands might see the whole thing collapse. Definitely not a China or USA candidate.
Matuidi is the least likely to go. He has a year left on his contract and will definitey want to see it out. He's also the kind of player that you can always count on, so we might decide to keep him even if doesn't fit Sarri's idea of a midfielder.
My guess is two stay, two leave. Three, if the stars align.
By Dan Go To PostI think that team was truly the last great United side. Not even great. Just that we had a really great coaching team that manages to pinpoint team's weaknesses that we took advantage well.
We were exposed how shit a lot of the players were after Fergie left, and Moyes thinking he knew better.
FIFA trying to ban tribunals which take place when a club takes an under 23 player from another club. This would be disastrous for lower league football.

By Hixx Go To PostFIFA trying to ban tribunals which take place when a club takes an under 23 player from another club. This would be disastrous for lower league football.A leaked dossier on the move reveals the game’s rulers want to scrap training compensation fees for clubs who lose their best young talent to bigger rivals.
Instead, the compo system will be replaced by a flat-rate fee financed by a one per cent levy on all transfers.
It has not yet been determined what the flat fee will be but it is likely to be much lower than clubs can receive at present.
And that could starve clubs, especially smaller ones, of vital funds.
Fifa — headed by Gianni Infantino — claim the change is necessary because too many cases go to tribunal and too much time is spent sorting them out.
Just make the compensation higher, that way there will be less tribunals.
By Dan Go To PostI think that team was truly the last great United side.
Nah that team was a bang average one. RVP and the Clank the peak of their powers. Everyone just kind of knew how to get the W despite a bad performance.
I’m hoping we’ve improved on that this season.

Unbelievably cunty move. FIFA just don’t give a shit about any football where money isn’t the priority.

Wouldn't have a problem if we got rid of Alexis without a replacement. Been here 18 months andns scored 5 times in 45 games. He's a waste of space.
Sensational reward for scoring your first goal for the Lads
Mad this lad can't get a look in for Eng u21s. Unreal feet, sticks so many centre halfs on their arse. And we ended up with Will Grigg instead. The new worst-ever-Sunderland-striker.

Watching extended highlights of West Ham vs Brighton. Wilshere had another anonymous showing and was subbed at half time. Trossard scored two lovely goals, but the MotD highlights didn't show him coming close on another few occasions and playing some lovely passes to Brighton's strikers.
