By Frustrated_me Go To PostNo Pogba and no VDB?You might still get Pogba...
Damn.
Not being able to sell Bale fucked us hard, this is going to be one of the longest seasons, I thought last season was bad this one might just be worse.
By Linius Go To PostMost recent rumours thrown around are that Madrid is willing to wait a year to get VDB. Meanwhile at the stadium we just keep singing songs for Donny and Tadic dragged him along with him after the game to enjoy the singing. We're doing the best we can.I saw the singing + his post match interview lol
It's not that we're willing to wait to sign him next year, it's more about us having a strict wage structure + finite amount of cash to purchase new players. I really think the only player we would break bank for is Neymar but as we all know his entourage is simply using Madrid to get a better deal at Barcelona. He's never coming to Madrid.
We need to sell/loan Bale, James and Mariano but that's not looking likely. Atletico is interested in James but feeding them another player is suicide on our part, they're already the better team judging by this pre-season.
Fede, Vinicius, Brahim, Rodrygo, Kubo, Odegaard and Hakimi are the future. Isco and Varane (from the old guard) are the only one's I see joining the younger Madrid in the coming years. The rest won't survive.
We'll break bank for Mpabbe.

Yeah I got that much, it's not like we're pen pals and you guys wanna do us a favour by saying "hey keep Donny another year, we'll be in touch by then". I'm still not completely at ease with the situation. The longer this possible transfer is taking the harder it will be to get a replacement. And it would be classic Ajax to sell a first team player in the final days before the deadline. Happened with players like Milik and Eriksen too in the past.

Let's see what happens, I hope for us he comes, he woiuld shake up the midfield and provide youth, energizing the old guard.

Chelsea is going to be scary once Kante is fit.

Except for the PAOK game he scored or assisted every official game so far this season. Starting with an assist in the supercup against PSV followed by goals against Vitesse and Emmen. Already being important for out attack this season. We really just need him to stay another season. And I also feel like it would be better for him to stay, it's important he's playing right now. He may be older than Frenkie and Matthijs, but he doesn't have the same amount of sheer talent as them. I'm just afraid he'll be overwhelmed going to Madrid right now. It might have been different if it wasn't so turbulent at Real now. There's gonna be immense pressure and not much room to make mistakes I figure. Madrid needs to win silverware this year.

wouldnt be worried about them. can't see where the goals are coming from over there.

Would have been totally fine with quatro of Messi, Griezzmann, Dembele and Suarez for this season. It's not like Valverde knows what the fuck to do with all this attacking talent anyways.
But eh, Barto you do you.

Too busy planning his next €40m orgy paid by Barcelona
By domino Go To Postwouldnt be worried about them. can't see where the goals are coming from over there.I was thinking more that I was impressed than worrying about our top 4 chances.
They have Mount and Barkley, two good long range shooters, and Giroud is good for some last minute goals at least.
Also lots of players that are good at creating and exploiting spaces.
By domino Go To Postwouldnt be worried about them. can't see where the goals are coming from over there.Mourinho managed 3rd in 13/14 with a strikeforce of Eto'o, Torres and Ba. Hazard did manage 14, but their other scores were Schurrle, Oscar and Lampard.
Even if current Chelsea have no one capable of getting ~15 league goals, they can still get 8 players with 5+
No matter how good they will be going forward they are a tragedy while defending... it's like Lampard forgot to coach them about defending.
The fact that United of all teams managed to rip them apart while not playing well speaks volumes.

Mou won soooooo many games 1 0 ... will Frank be able to manage going without conceding?

We're below Man Utd, didn't sign anyone, lost the second half against Norwich, and Alisson is injured. Klopp out.

Damn right it's too early. It isnt like Chelsea were thoroughky helpless in the final third. United was helped by the goalposts.
Chelsea have Giroud, Batshuayi, Abraham, Pulisic, Pedro, Barkley, Mount, Loftus-Cheek, Willian and Hudson-Odoi. They’ll be okay.

They're shots off target, Flutter.
Going to be so fun to watch Madrid shit it up again this season (especially more fails from Courtois).

brøndby supporter arguing against the possibility, of them going under due to losing millions a month
i guess he fell asleep before the end of the titanic movie.
If I had an extra dick for every time someone wrote off Brøndby, I would look like a big pink hedgehog …
We are - as I have said before - like the Titanic: too big to go down.
i guess he fell asleep before the end of the titanic movie.
I know 'it's only preseason' is a thing, but Real really looked dire. Zidane is out of his depth at building a team.
Yesterday was a new low I think. Zidane tried both a 352 and a 433 and neither looked convincing. The former looked so unfamiliar to Madrid it might as well have been the first game of pre-season and not the last.

Messi: 40M
Griezmann: 23M
Suarez: 15M
De Jong: 15M
Busquets: 9M
Pique: 9M
Dembele: 9M
Neymar: 38M (estimated wage)
That's just 8 players, if Neymar were to join, over 150m. How is this happening? And this is AFTER taxes. They're near 1bn in debt (850~m) right now.
