By MushForBrains Go To Postaside from the obvious, is everyone forgetting that they play in different positions?
Apart from him not being a striker or winger, zidane also signed for madrid at 29, in an era where La Liga and CL were both more competitive so less 6-1s for Madrid
By batong Go To PostDoesn't exactly clear him either though does it (not in a manner of 'she made it all up')? Just that the evidence wasn't strong enough but sounds like there were mistakes made ten years ago when the complaint first came in and some evidence had been lost.no one knows except for them
it could be she was naive back then and didn't go through the proper steps (she fucked up)
it could be your typical celebrity long con
it could be anything. It doesn't clear him for sure

I really like Bale but this is one of the most “stats can’t tell you everything” things I’ve ever seen.
I also love Zidane but at club level he was WILDLY inconsistent, Pogba got nothing on him.

Bale>>>Zidane
By Lunatic Go To PostSurprised Bale has played that much games. Could have sworn he was injured half the time.
well even then, he has been there for 6 years at this point.

They tried it once. Van der Vaart and Sneijder never really worked out in Madrid. Glad they still got a great career elsewhere. Van der Vaart was already great at HSV at the time of course.

Been great in Denmark as well, with his 20 appearances through the last 3 years. Legend

Hahaha, VdV should have just retired years ago. His second spell at HSV already was a stretch.
You know what's even funnier? Royston Drenthe once was a Real Madrid player. What a legend.

Amazing time at Real Madrid. Julien Faubert also literally falling asleep on their bench, while Gravesen was running around during the Gravesinha.

no one can tell me this man isn't going to appear on dateline some day
By Laboured Go To PostThat sweet Newcastle drama.
By Linius Go To PostLol, apparently Sevilla are going to buy Nemanja Gudelj. Incredible how he does it.Free transfer. His wages must be really high, there was a lot of talk about him wanting to stay with us and Keizer apparently liked him.
He wasn't very good for us but unfortunately none of the players we used in his position during this pre season have been better than him.

Waste of time because the Premier League will look after their own.
That said, fair play to our gaffer for making this as difficult and awkward for Ashley as possible.

the latter was probably a flop, to be fair.
Yeah Van der Sar came back to life at Fulham. But the other two certainly delivered. Remember Davids on the cover of FIFA 2003 in a Juve kit.

By batong Go To PostWho's marking the attackers then if you go man to man on the CB🤔😧
I think Holding and Soka can be a decent pair, but we desperately need a CB but I doubt that'll happen as long as Mustafi is at the club. 😞

I always love this VDS story
Watch it happen in game one with De Ligt when Chiellini trips over his on feet after receiving a ball.
Juventus promised the earth, even offering to ditch their traditional approach and play in the Dutch style. In his very first game, Van der Sar discovered this would not, in fact, be the case. When he played one of his usual passes to Paolo Montero, the defender panicked, booted it into touch, and screamed at Van der Sar for giving him an “impossible” ball. Van der Sar looked to the bench for support and saw coach Carlo Ancelotti joining in the abuse.

Sterling's positional intelligence and short passing stood out the moment he came into our first team, and has steadily improved ever since
Walcott was a more reliable finisher (nowhere near as good as sniffing chances out though), but he never ever looked like he was capable of improving further than he did, or having as much to his game as Sterling has for the last 6 or so years
