Monaco are continuing to pursue Blaise Matuidi, with PSG, Manchester United and Everton interested, but Juventus will only sell for €25mUnited too? That's a lot of suitors now. Surely....
He's pretty good honestly, runs tirelessly and even contributes in attack more often than not. His only flaw (which proved fatal to Sarri) is that he isn't very technical or an exceptional passer for his position
you could do much worse with that price. And you probably wouldward so just give us money please

Onana and Ziyech returned to Amsterdam today. Still waiting for Nico, Mazraoui and Neres in the coming days. These international tournaments kept half our XI away from the club till this week. And we're playing the national super cup already this week. I'm glad we're not in the same boat as PSV, they already play CL qualifiers tomorrow. We still have two weeks left luckily.
Looks like we do have a Technical Committee. Probably emulating Ajax's. That's great!
We still lack a DoF, and Woodward's team still has a lot of pull and in charge of transfer negotiations. That's bad.

Well, notwithstanding the fact that we denied that we made any such assessment, the rumour was that LvG's man Marcel Bout was concerned that De Ligt's dad is dead porky and was concerned his genes pre-disposed him to being over-weight.

Haha, did you miss that one? There were stories that United had scouted De Ligt years back already. But some medical experts at the club said his weight could become a problem in the future. Their main evidence was De Ligt's dad having a proper belly like so many men get at a certain age if they don't treat their body like a temple. So that's why they never pursued him any further at that age. This story always sounded like absolute bullshit though.

I didn't pay much attention to any reports coming out of England, Spain or France really.
I like that he's quite vocal in denying every bullshit narrative out there now that he can finally speak
as long as he's not pre-disposed to going bald at an early age I think we'll be okay
Frankfurt might be in for Philipp
Would be great for him, I like him and going to Wolfsburg is something nobody should do

By Linius Go To PostI only recently realized we have a very talented American in the squad. He's born in the city where I live, but his father is American so he plays for the American youth teams, Sergiño Dest is the name. Is he on the radar in the States already? Until I looked up his wiki page I always assumed he's Dutch, which he is as much as American basically.I've seen his name before but don't know much about him. It looks like US Soccer wrote a pretty lengthy article about him this summer: https://www.ussoccer.com/stories/2019/05/big-dreams-carry-sergino-dest-from-netherlands-to-u20-world-cup-with-the-usa.
In general, the US has some really talented teenagers out there right now. It's very encouraging for the future. I think we will see more of Konrad De La Fuente this season at Barca.. even if it's just a regularly playing for Barca B. There is a kid who plays for FC Dallas right now, Paxton Pomykal, who looks like our next best thing in MLS. FC Dallas has a great academy and so it's no surprise another gem has come from there. I am sure he'll be in Europe soon and hopefully he's as successful as quickly as Weston McKennie (also from FC Dallas).

I'm starting to get excited about some of the youngsters coming through at Arsenal. This is the season for a new class to show their worth, I think Nketiah will be a good striker option.

Was expecting you to respond as our American reporter on the ground. So no buzz at all basically. Which makes sense, only just now started making minutes for our first team. But he looks very promising. He's supposed to play on the right but he can also play on the left. Needs to work more on his defense skills but he's certainly the kind of fullback that suits our play with his forward momentum. Get the feeling he'll get some minutes in the coming season, he's been having an outstanding pre-season.

BIG WEEK
If Ornstein says it’s a big week, it’s a big week.
I heard Ceballos will have a 40-45m elizas option to buy clause. If it doesn't have any kind of option for us to keep him if he's decent, then that's not a good deal for us, we're just helping Madrid.
Saliba I have no idea how good he is, but if the club is willing to wait one year for him he should be decent.
The lack of Everton news disappoints me.
The new beer having half of my nickname on it's name can only mean one thing, Bem-vido ao Arsenal, HellzFire.
Sergiño is a disgrace to the portuguese language.

Seriously though what a shit window so far. Two loans, one without an option and one that won’t be here until next year. No CB, no Tierney, no winger. Shit.
By J Ciaran Go To PostYou hate to see it.

Getting him in on loan for a year makes sense, means we can spend our money on other positions and then next year we can blow most of the budget on a Ramsey replacement. Plus we've got Willock coming through who looks like a decent midfielder.
By MushForBrains Go To PostMate, Holding will put VVD in his place Be'lee dat.Who's marking the attackers then if you go man to man on the CB🤔
We expected not getting a lot on this window

By Zabojnik Go To PostYou hate to see it.Doesn't exactly clear him either though does it (not in a manner of 'she made it all up')? Just that the evidence wasn't strong enough but sounds like there were mistakes made ten years ago when the complaint first came in and some evidence had been lost.
Every time someone reports our potential price for Lo Celso, it gets about £5m cheaper. I'm convinced it's just European and British papers constantly reporting eachothers' numbers but getting the currency wrong.
Also, I'm glad how much shit Bale is getting, he was a mega cunt when he left us, and I enjoy Zidane being a mega cunt to him now
