I would laugh at Kos going on strike and refusing to play but im used to these overpaid prima donna cunts doing it all the time.

By Laboured Go To PostSeems our asking price for Lukaku is €85m.Cool if we can get it. Any which way the payment is spread so long as we sell and get someone decent in.
Who in their right mind would pay €85m for lolkaku?
At most, and I'm being generous here given the market, at most 45m. He's so bad.

Based on this 88sec video I'm saying this guy, who I've never heard of before, is a #prospect. Larouci sounds like it should be an F1 team in the early 90s, Pedro Diniz the driver.
Its a market of demand and supply and, for whatever reason, Lukaku is Conte's choice. As is Kovacic to Chelsea even though I don't think he is worth it. Not even really bothered how much we sell him so long as we do and get someone decent.
I get they don’t want to let him leave because they probably can’t afford to replace him. But after 9 years, and with only one year left on his contract, if Koscielny wants to go that badly they probably should be a bit more accommodating.
If they say no and he absolutely does not want to stay any longer then he probably thinks he hasn’t got much to lose by causing problems. Also there is the Webster ruling to consider, so may as well just sell him

Aren't we all. You could get Fernandes for £15m more, or like way (currently) better CMs for much, much less. Still think they're just bluffing mind. Just means it's going to be a slow grind to a deal, which isn't really worth the effort.
By Cleff Go To PostNothing on Bruno at all.
Doesn't seem like we're all that interested.
Whoa now it already said we're working on Maguire. You know the rules. That only our club need abide by.
By Laboured Go To PostWhoa now it already said we're working on Maguire. You know the rules. That only our club need abide by.What were the reasons for that again? Clearly it hasn't been successful as we're l as than a month away from the window closing and we've only made two signings.
By Cleff Go To PostNothing on Bruno at all.All quiet in our end also. Only news are of other players saying Bruno is fully committed to Sporting and that has been visible on the way he has been making the new players feel welcome.

Even when he received his award as the league's MVP he said he would do everything in his power to get the award for a third consecutive time.
Things are pretty simple, pay what we want or he stays.

Cavalo if Arsenal and United merged together, would we make a decent club

Sadly I'm not sure I agree. It feels like we have a lot of similar weaknesses and strengths. Main difference is you have a better backroom structure and we have more money. But our teams have both have substantial quality deficits in quite similar areas.

On our current situation, it's so fucking ungrateful of him to do this. Do not release him for free Arsenal. Make an statement out of this. We have been a joke club for a long time already. Enough.
By Meier Go To PostWell, I was typing it before I saw his reply, but honestly, Aspas has been amazing for Celta for many years now and it isn't just about stats. He's clearly been as effective as Griezmann and you could argue been even better. The biggest potential red flag for him though will be staying healthy going forward as he's 31 now and had a few recurring niggles last season that kept him out for some games. If I'm Barcelona though and trying to sign Neymar as well, I'd be telling Griezmann to fuck off and getting an effective, cheaper option like him. Griezmann's ego getting put into that team just screams future problems to me.I mean... you know.
I don't really get you on this one. Talking 'bad' about Griezmann and being totally okay with paying an obscene amount for Neymar? I'd be more cautious about that really.
120m for Griezmann is fine, not cheap but it's okay. He's also reasonably young, you can get a good 4-5 years out of him and with transfer fees exploding, you might even get a good amount of the money back when you ship him off to kind of retire. You're also signing a player like Griezmann to win the CL, not for some random league goals. Yeah, a player like Aspas can score whatever amount of goals in the league but will he score that penalty in the final or snag that away goal at Anfield? And Griezmann to Barca was most likely already done unofficially before Neymar started crying to come back, so you can't really tell Griezmann to fuck off.
I agree with Milch that Griezmann is a great signing for Barcelona. Adds real quality to an ageing list of attackers. Also gives Dembele another Frenchman in the camp to help him grow and reach his potential.
But I also agree that everyone in the world should be looking at Iago Aspas. My absolute hero.

I don’t even understand what point you’re trying to make saying he didn’t want to leave when he was injured
It says more about the club than him that he’s been there 9 years and can’t wait to leave

My point is that when he got injured, we kept being professional. I'm not 100% sure on this but I believe we even given him an extension once while he was injured, but I might be mistaken. Then when he wants out, he isnt, wants to force it by going on a strike.
Arsenal always supported him and stood by him under the worst moments. He was deeply criticized in the last 3 seasons (me included) by the supporters because of his mediocre performances, but Arsenal still kept him there, not by favor, but by being professional.
If he wants to leave, then bring the club an offer. We arent obliged to give him free pass, especially on the situation we are finantially and squad wise.
He's club captain, we expect more of captains, you know.
He signed a contract. We expect him to be a professional and follow what it's written there. Go on a strike/refuse to play is a horrible way to force your way out. Also disrupts the whole atmosphere inside the squad.

One way or another, provide the money, then fuck off. His situation at the club hasnt changed since his last contract extension, he starts every game he's available for.

By KP Go To PostHonestly no idea who Longstaff isHe played well vs us last season. I watched a few other Newcastle games to watch Almiron as well and Longstaff consistently looked like a really tidy player. But he's played like 10 games for them. £25m to me seems like it would be a very generous offer.
Holy shit at that Mertens photo. My jaw legitimately dropped.
Have Ajax decided to honour their promise to De Ligt yet? It's getting tedious.
By KP Go To PostHonestly no idea who Longstaff isI've been called Longstaff before. Maybe.
By Vini.lad Go To PostNope.
Ok, well apparently he thinks there was an agreement to let him go and that they will be getting an offer or may have already received one.
Also he's not happy with how the club has managed his playing schedule, and thinks the team and the club are going in the wrong direction.
Bear in mind he wants to go back to France specifically and he's probably going to be getting less money next year by leaving.
edit: basically I don't think it's as simple as what you're suggesting, i.e. injury prone captain goes on strike after years of support from the club.
but I will reiterate the importance of getting things in writing
That doesnt change much things to me tbh. If he wants to leave, bring in the offer, if it's good enough for us we will sell.
If it isnt, then behave as a professional.
Act like Ramsey did.

Damn we netted 100 million for winning the CL?
I don’t suppose I could have just one of those millions? Surely 99 will be enough.
