Bruno Fernandes shared some videos of him joking around with the newcomers of the team. Spirits are high, everyone is in a good mood and Fernandes seems to be doing his part as a Captain to make the new guys feel welcome.
Looking forward to watch our first pre-season friendly in an hour.

Our youngsters at LB and RB due to our LBs are still on vacation after being both on the Copa America and our 2 RBs are injured. Not sure if I am fan of Vietto on the wing.
By Cleff Go To PostWoodward Ole plzzzzz. They even threw in Ninja for the lulz cmon
By Zabojnik Go To PostMan, forget about Delight. If Paratici can get rid of Higuain, Khedira, Matuidi and Mandzukic in one mercato window … that's the real masterpiece right there. Shit will require some proper voodoo magic to get done.We are in a(n)
I think Khedira might be the easiest to dispose of. Mutual contract termination, doesn't strike me as the type to put his foot down. MLS the most probable destination. 2 years on his contract still tho, so if he's not ready for that american life … there might be trouble.
Higuain could go either way. Apparently Juve have let him know in no uncertain terms that they're not counting on him for next season. He and his agent brother might sulk a bit, especially since Roma, while very interested, likely aren't going to break the bank to sign him. Paratici & co. will probably try to grease the whole situation by lowering Juve's demands as far as still within reason. Maybe a loan with obligation to buy at a heavily discounted price and a jus primae noctis on Zaniolo. Could be a quick one or complicated as fuck.
Matuidi and Mandzukic are somewhat more appetizing for potential buyers, but they'll also require a whole lot of convincing. Madzukic might be the easier of the two, since it feels like he's reached the natural conclusion of his Juve adventure. However, knowing him he'll no doubt demand a club where he's considered a starter, which might rule out the likes of Dortmund. He strikes me as someone who'd accept an EL-tier club at this point of his career, but he won't be playing for peanuts. His salary demands might see the whole thing collapse. Definitely not a China or USA candidate.
Matuidi is the least likely to go. He has a year left on his contract and will definitey want to see it out. He's also the kind of player that you can always count on, so we might decide to keep him even if doesn't fit Sarri's idea of a midfielder.
My guess is two stay, two leave. Three, if the stars align.
Sorry I missed this. You summed it up quite nicely I'm not sure I can add anything meaningful, so lemme look at it from another POV then.
it's hard to slap a percentage on any of them given how volatile the market is, our ambiguous mercato targets (masters of redherring) and IF we are actually trying to free up some salary space for our prodigal son, the cornuto or even Zaniolo. All four are in our top 6 highest paid lol but on short contracts, so it won't hurt us as much as you'd think. If we sell Cancelo we will have more leeway but I suspect we're selling to get some money for transfers not for paying annual salaries.
Khedira is surely on a wind up here? Not that long ago he hinted at a possible move to the states. He knows without Allegri and especially under Sarri he's absolutely nowhere near our XI. What changed? The Iberian beast's arrival? He'll absolutely fuck off
I'll wait on Higuain, as this will actually come down to Sarri I'm afraid. He'll be the hardest to move for sure, yet paradoxically the best player and with the highest MV of the four lol. I dunno why Inter is not a feasible destination? Well, he will hit the ground running if needs be.
Mandzukic and Matuidi will leave if they find a suitable club, absolutely, but should they? I still maintain that Mario is a colossal on the pitch and he's excellent with the ball at his feet. Matuidi had a very good season and is (almost) always fit! But yeah...no space with Rambo and Rabiot.
We don't need a striker (next season) honestly, nor to get rid of 2 of the 4 mentioned. We just need slaves to feed the Iberian beast, we can score we just need that elusive final pass. Icardi is a golden opportunity for sure, but eh...if we miss out we miss out, we already did enough damage as it is. I'll be happy with just De Ligt.
we will figure it out, we always do.
and Zabo
Ronaldo.
The thing about Pogba is, clearly Man Utd won't finish top Four, so it's going to be a train wreck halfway through the season when the locker room gangs up together behind the big Instagram star and tell Soljkaer to wipe the smile of his face.
Or maybe Man Utd wins the PL and the CL.

I don't see it as only a wages-saving measure, Yurtissimo, that's only part of it, albeit a pretty crucial part.
I think Paratici is on a holy mission to both rejuvenate and strengthen our squad, hence De Ligt, and the four mentioned are simply the most logical candidates to get goodbye'd. As you've said, they could all still be useful to us (well, maybe not Khedira), but they don't exactly fit Sarri's idea of football and they're all "star players" who wouldn't accept a semi-permanent spot on the bench.
If Ronaldo is to be our main CT next season, what use is Mandzukic? He'll probably hand in a transfer request after the first meeting with Sarri anyway. Same goes for Higuain, when you still have Dybala and Kean to care for. Matuidi and Khedira, same story. Unless Sarri thinks otherwise - Ramsey, Rabiot, Bentancur and Pjanic all have precedence.
Gonna be a fun mercato windows for us.

By Zabojnik Go To PostI don't see it as only a wages-saving measure, Yurtissimo, that's only part of it, albeit a pretty crucial part.Sarri will probably experiment with that whole CT thing and if it works then even Icardi isn't needed let alone Mandzukic. Sarri is the key, he's apparently very blunt to say the least so hopefully he will sit them down and go terrone on their surplus asses. Don't rule out a front two btw, with a 10 behind them.

Let's count on their inflated egos..
maybe we should add Cuadrado on the list. I give him two training sessions
Can't really see this being worth the time and effort. It only seemed interesting on a price v potential basis.

Makes no sense. We’ve backed out of plenty of deals when we’re not sure if the player is committed, even as far back as when we were finishing 7th more often than not. Why would we now suddenly become desperate after we’ve won the Champions League and scored our records points total in the league.
