The opposite.
By bud Go To Postthis lukaku being too muscular story… i'm baffled by this.Lol bud. Think we have talked about it so many times.
never has a player been too muscular to perform. or at least, i've never before read about a player bulking up so much he couldn't perform anymore. if anything, he looked fat rather than too fit.
it's just the case of another mediocre player not being able to cope with the pressure after being brought in for a lot of money, i think.
Just compare his figure during the Belgium NT and the first 2 months of that season. The difference of quality in his first touch before and after he got slimmer.

he's cooking something I can smell it
By batong Go To PostWhy are Juve selling the future moist? He needs to play consistently. It's just a glorified loan really
“I’m certain that after so much suffering, we have an opportunity to write beautiful pages in our history,” Mirri told reporters.
“We’ll change our badge so that it’ll have a more aggressive eagle, which witnesses our ambition of reaching Serie A in three years.”

Gomez came back too muscular after one of his injuries with us, it had an obvious impact on his burst of pace and turning speed.
There's a reason there are barely any Akinfenwas playing professional football.

By Zabojnik Go To PostThat, or simply because he isn't a generational talent and we could use the money.we have Bernardeschi and we're after Bernardeschi 2.0, he definitely has more potential than both combined.
he doesn't have to be a generational talent to want him here, just someone good enough.

Hell I went through it at one point earlier this year and had to alter how I train completely
Increased muscle changes all your mechanics, your flexibility, etc. I think Lukaku was just flat overweight though
His first touch is also shit. Must be the giant penis feet.
Welbutt wants 100k per week and guaranteed 5m signing bonus from his new club apparently. Think we can afford that.

lol @ our injuries
I don't know what's worse, the injuries or Bale's situation, I'm so sick of both.
But alas, I do try to find it in me to focus on the positives: WELCOME BACK JAMES!

Need to refer to Arnie's maritime lexicon to see whether RM constitute a sinking ship or something much larger and more doomed.
By Frustrated_me Go To PostIt blows my mind that there are teams willing to pay for Lukaku.
Have you seen his goal record lad
He’s got a 1 in 2 record and he’s not even hit his peak
This revisionist history of Lukaku being shit is weird. Dude does not necessarily fit a counter-press, mobile frontman style of play. But he’s got 42 goals in less than 100 games in an absolutely shit United squad, with shit players around him and shit style of play. That’s a decent record.
Do I think we should sell him? Yes. Does it mean he is shit? No.

He has always been bigger and stronger than anyone. He didn't have to develop his first touch like others. He can just knock the ball past them and run the fuck away with it. Probably why that's also his biggest strength, because the boy can run through most defenders like they're nothing.
By Frustrated_me Go To Postlol @ our injuriesYeah that would be the best. It's going to be a strange year for Real.

Wondering if having to fit in PLENTY of new players could be detrimental to Juve too. Sarri wants to play a system, but he's getting new players who haven't really play with each other before this.
By Linius Go To PostMy local club signed Shayon Harrison from Spurs. Any good Spurs fans?
Not really. Probably won’t make it above League One level
For @Arnie and the other guys concern trolling the payment structure, it's apparantly 34 upfront with the rest split over four years. So a completely normal transfer then.
Arsenal FC feigning poverty. I'm shocked and appalled.
They should change their initials to AIC for Arsenal Immoral Club.

By Laboured Go To PostNeed to refer to Arnie's maritime lexicon to see whether RM constitute a sinking ship or something much larger and more doomed.I’d like to go for something far less obvious but they’re quite clearly the original Titanic. Despite the money spent and wealth involved, regardless of the spectacle and showmanship, you know that everyone on board is a cunt and they’re going down hard.
By Kidjr Go To PostFor @Arnie and the other guys concern trolling the payment structure, it's apparantly 34 upfront with the rest split over four years. So a completely normal transfer then. That’s about £14m more than I expected them to pay out of the gate. But it’s not exactly textbook transferring for a club to accept less than 50% upfront. Lille wanted him sold and it’s the perfect deal for Arsenal who, despite probably having more than the £45m that was talked about, certainly have limits to any deals done this summer.
