By Flutter Go To PostChelsea too, and possibly Barcelona. Not Chelsea, m8. Think we are in a pretty good spot. Certainly above Arsenal and United.
Pele.lad, doubt anyone would want to take a risk on him. He gets injured enough as a sub, doubt he can be a starter.
What are your thoughts on these lads?

By Perfect Blue Go To PostNot Chelsea, m8. Think we are in a pretty good spot. Certainly above Arsenal and United.Could go either way really. You are:
Losing your star player.
Losing your 1st and 2nd choice CFs presumably.
Hot prospect with a serious long term injury.
Transfer ban still in the cards.
Losing your manager.
So continuity will be an issue.

Club seems to thrive based on chaos lately lol. And being in the CL will help a lot.

But the best Brazilian player in the last decade goes to Diego Costa.
The thrust of Delaney's article is the troubles United are having in making any transfers in or out. The players we want either don't want us due to no CL or have been deemed too expensive.
He goes in to mention that OGS is now considering giving Bailly a second chance and making Tuanzebe a member of the senior squad.

In what is supposed to be yet another summer overhaul, they have not yet signed a single player, and sources say they are currently struggling on a fair few deals. Worse, and as Jose Mourinho and his predecessors could lament, they are having greater problems moving anyone on.

By Linius Go To PostNeres.I should've been more clear about what I meant by 'hype', which is the narrative spectacle around a player during their initial move from Brazil to Europe, when everyone's opinion is based almost entirely on hearsay and fantasy, because they don't watch any actual Brazilian football. I'm thinking along the lines of Adriano, Kaka, Neymar, Gabigol, et al.
Alisson, from what I recall, had no hype when he arrived at Roma; Diego Costa was young and unknown; Neres was no one until he came to Ajax - he'd barely even played for São Paulo.
There have been plenty of successful Brazilians, but it seems very few of the 'hyped' ones succeed.

I was joking about Alisson hype. I'd never heard of him til last season, and even when he joined us there was more scepticism than hype I think. Not a position that people get excited about, and he'd only had a year playing regularly for a decent European team.
Like Kepa, the price seemed to raise eyebrows more than expectations. Not to say that Liverpool fans expected little from him though, especially having put up with Reina's dreadful form, then Mignolet and Karius. He'd have had to be some flop to not be a big improvement over what we'd become used to.
Kerlon is my byword now for prospects who go on to do absolutely nothing. Didn't the rules get tweaked to make the seal dribble illegal?
