I won't say Vinicius excites me because the club he plays for forces me to hope that he fails, but he's very intriguing. His movement and explosiveness seems exceptional, get some top class finishing coaching and he'll be brilliant.
By Hitch Go To PostI was joking about Alisson hype. I'd never heard of him til last season, and even when he joined us there was more scepticism than hype I think. Not a position that people get excited about, and he'd only had a year playing regularly for a decent European team.
Like Kepa, the price seemed to raise eyebrows more than expectations. Not to say that Liverpool fans expected little from him though, especially having put up with Reina's dreadful form, then Mignolet and Karius. He'd have had to be some flop to not be a big improvement over what we'd become used to.
Kerlon is my byword now for prospects who go on to do absolutely nothing. Didn't the rules get tweaked to make the seal dribble illegal?
Don't put this legend to shame played 0 games for us
By LFMartins86 Go To PostWell, this is mostly wrong.Michael Lang – Mi-hile
Hahaha, what? I mean sure, it's not the English "my kell" but how the hell do you come up with Mi-hile and how would you even pronounce it lol
Ganso is a bit depressing judging by his highlights from his time in Brazil
That talent is easily transferable to European football, seems like he got massively unfortunate with the timing and regularity of his injuries

Thing is Frustrated, has any prospects other than Mbappe wow'ed us?
Sometimes I think it's probably because of the crazy standards set by Messi or Cristiano. In any other generation Neymar would have been THE bonafide superstar.

Ganso was highly rated than Neymar when they were both rising
But Gansos style was already lethargic Ozilesque when he was here, imagine when he gone to Europe, older, not playing, etc. Died.
Kerlon was nowhere near Neymar/Ganso levels of hype.
Gabigol was. What a flop he was. Vinicius was increasing his hype at Flamengo but he stayed there for like 1 year only playing pro level, so not that big also.
There's no young player minimally close to Neymars level of hype nowadays playing here.

By baseball-batong Go To PostI want the next Pele.gif though. Driving down that curb.pele.gif is no more
Rodriguez looks weird to me, because nothing in his stats suggests he isn't still producing world class AM performances, with the exception of not getting many minutes each season - is he injured a lot? Reminds me a lot of Lucas Moura actually
By sohois Go To Postto be fair to Kerlon, injuries hit him massively. Ganso is the more obvious for me
Keirrison is the one for me. Bigger flop than even Gabigol
By domino Go To PostKeirrison is the one for me. Bigger flop than even Gabigolnah, Gabigol was bigger.
Keirrison was injury prone and never was even called for the National team
By FligureSkatingFan Go To PostWho was the last Brazilian that lived up to the hype? Neymar was almost there….Pele.lad

Lucas Moura? Guy was in the same class as Neymar and Ganso. That famous photo with Dilma. Think he’s been worth the hype.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostLucas Moura? Guy was in the same class as Neymar and Ganso. That famous photo with Dilma. Think he’s been worth the hype.Nope, he didnt hit the heights people thought he was capable of. Maybe moved to PSG too early in his career.

Havertz is another one for sure.

also never really made it into the National side
By Cleff Go To PostThe thrust of Delaney's article is the troubles United are having in making any transfers in or out. The players we want either don't want us due to no CL or have been deemed too expensive.
He goes in to mention that OGS is now considering giving Bailly a second chance and making Tuanzebe a member of the senior squad.
i think it's much ado about nothing rn. nobody in the league worth a shit has signed anyone yet and it's internationals right now.
nothing's going to happen for another 10 days at least. if we get to july then it's time to worry.
By Pennywise Go To PostSancho :)Oh yeah I actually forgot about him, looking really good from the matches I've seen.
Havertz is another one for sure.

James is still one of the best players around, his creativity on the pitch is almost unparalleled
By Baconsaurus Go To PostLucas Moura is 26???
This is him 6 years ago
Going bald is just a big disgrace
By Laboured Go To Post Actually think it’s really good how the club has talked about shipping dead wood but the only players that look like leaving are our best performers. Not suicide inducing at all.Are you surprised? You sound surprised.
We are starting with Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva, João Felix and Cristiano Ronaldo? Didn't expect Santos to do what everyone wanted.

Yeah that's a talented squad you guys have now
Fully expect Portugal to win tonight

I like this.
Sell Zappacosta, keep Reece James, Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount, see what they can do while the transfer ban in in effect.
