Nope. 100% Grayson. The pick and those bums Korver and Crowder are just along for the ride.

Poor Clippers. They tried so hard, and got so far. But in the end, it didn’t even matter.
I see you though, Jerry West. You definitely still the goat GM.

Steven Adams omg Mitch DO IT
Jesus, that would really be something. Giving up Adams for cap relief.
By giririsss Go To Post……….. Wut.I was just thinking that NO should make a play for Adams... shit throw the 4 at them

Holy shit, I didn't know it was that bad in OKC.
They have $150M in salaries next year.
$96M between YNB, George, Adams.
Then $15M for Schroeder.
That leaves them with a huge $50M luxury tax bill. And they're not better than last year.

By blackace Go To PostI was just thinking that NO should make a play for Adams… shit throw the 4 at themSupposedly there's light interest between the Pacers for the 4 pick. People throwing Myles Turner as the name they may want. Supposedly Turner can actually shoot too.
If he can space, he'd be a good fit along side zion.
Would be a pretty nasty defensive team then. Jrue / Lonzo back court, Turner / Zion front court.
Not sure how much traction it really has though. Seems to good for NO to be true.
By pkaz01 Go To PostI fuckin hate josh jackson at this pointHas he actually been arrested this time?
Myles seems a bit fragile... but still a promising pairing. They do need a proper center I think in NO
By Fenderputty Go To PostHow’s far does OKC go without Adams? 9th seed?It would make Noel and Jerami Grant their front line.
So....

Might be soon enough, even then his garbage trade value got even worse
By blackace Go To PostMyles seems a bit fragile… but still a promising pairing. They do need a proper center I think in NOEspecially the first few years. But even then, it would free Zion up to do what he wants from the weak side.
Or have Zion cover a wing instead of a big.
The versatility would be great for them.

It was only a matter of time with that dude
By pkaz01 Go To PostIt's family court, so i take it with a grain of salt.

But the sad part is it's entirely believable.
Sigh.
Comes out the day before the draft when we are trying to get rid of him too damn. Fucking McD should’ve got Fox and traded Bledsoe when he had the chance

What more can be said about JJ?
I'd almost rather they just cut him /stretch him and get it all away from the team.
I'm a Adams fan but there was times last season where he looked pretty bad.. like he's just getting slower on defense. I still think it might have just been injury related though.

By Pac-12 Go To PostMakes sense, considering the coach.he plays with Westbrook not CJ
We got Conley, yesssss.
Issue is depth since our team is just:
Gobert
Mitchell
Conley
Favors
Ingles
Royce
Dante Exum 20% of the year
Neto
?????
Need a third string center and another wing or two.
Our top 6 is super fucking good though if we can play Favors and Gobert together in the playoffs.

Niang will be back for sure.
I think Favors will only be on the roster if they can't find a stretch 4 to sign.

The way we did this trade suggested that we want to keep Favors. We only have $4.7M to spend in FA and that's... not a lot at all, lol.

I remember looking at this as people argued the suns couldn't take zion as a PF because he's too short (yes, seriously) and the best counter point is the Jazz with Gobert / Favors. Two really good defensive bigs but ... it just doesn't work in the modern NBA if neither can space the floor properly. Maybe they were the exception, but i don't think so.

Gobert and Favors were both hurt in 2017.
We had Ricky Rubio at PG in 2018 and 2019.
So it could still work, but we'll see.
Quin's unwillingness to go after offensive rebounds also hurts the pairing as Favors could overwhelm basically every PF in the league other than Zion and Millsap to get rebounds.

I still think they will see what they can do with either trading Favors or seeing what they can do with the cap space they would have if they don't pick up his option.
Curious what he would get in free agency and if there is some chance they decline his option but still re-sign him, or if he would be offended and wouldn't sign for less etc..

I think the plays offs gave him a boost. And so many bigs seemed to die in the play offs last year. Portland bigs in particular.
