All-Star center Al Horford of the Boston Celtics will decline to exercise his $30.1 million option for the 2019-20 season and become an unrestricted free agent, league sources tell ESPN.
While Horford, a five-time All-Star, will move into the free-agent marketplace on June 30, there's motivation for both Horford and the Celtics to work toward an agreement on a new long-term contract, league sources tell ESPN.
Horford could help Boston's salary-cap flexibility with a new deal that starts below that $30.1 million salary.
I'm not against the idea of moving up to 4, but how would the Wolves even do that? We have like nothing, unless New Orleans wants Jeff Teague's expiring contract or Dario Saric.

Garland's highlights look crazy.
but then they go on to say, he is small and not super fast and can't pass.

Between bi and Wiggins wew that length
I mean how many picks do the Pelicans want? I do that though depending on what else is offered as you are probably just as likely to find someone at 8 as you are at 4 in this draft

really depends on how much you like Garland--if you really think he's got the potential to be CJ McCollum, Donovan Mitchell of the draft then you definitely take him at 4
if you don't like him much, then trading down to 8 and 10 is a no brainer imo, get as many shots at a prospect working out as possible
The only reason Knicks would even look at Garland is if part of a trade, and even then it wouldn't make sense since Knicks have like 5 PGs. I'm surprised they aren't looking harder at Culver or Hunter, since both are "better" defenders.

If the Knicks genuinely think Garland's the best prospect at 3, they should take him because none of the point guards on their roster are good. Drafting for fit or perceived need when you win 17 games is crazy. This is how you end up taking Wesley Johnson at 4.
The Kevin Arnovitz article about that the NBA should let Zion choose where he plays because NBA players suffer from mental health illness in order to promote Disney's corporate agenda is unbelievably fucking insulting. I can't believe an editor let him go with that angle.
By Pac-12 Go To PostAssistant?Hey you wanna pay Mudiay to coach over Fizdale, that's on you.

I just realized Wesley Johnson has been in the NBA for 10 years.

I'm sorry, but...hell no is he worth $30M+. Holy shit.
I still don't see how some Knicks fans give Frank the benefit of the doubt and trash Zo when Frank is worse in all areas.
By Doomsayer Go To PostI still don't see how some Knicks fans give Frank the benefit of the doubt and trash Zo when Frank is worse in all areas. How dare you besmirch future SF Frank Ntilikina.
EDIT: To be honest, Frank can pass and is a good defender... that's it. Zo is poor man's Lou Williams but he cannot run anything outside of PnR and had his own teammates pissed at him for his play.
Harrison Barnes is declining his $25.1M player option, making him an unrestricted free agent this offseason.Barnes WTF you doing? You think you going to the Warriors or something?
This is somewhat surprising, as it is assumed that Barnes will have to take a pay cut in terms of annual salary; however, with so many teams possessing cap space this summer, he and his agent clearly believe he can lock up a long-term contract. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski notes that Barnes and the Kings are open to exploring a new deal together this summer. Barnes averaged 14.3 points, 5.5 boards, 1.9 assists and 1.9 treys per game for Sacramento last season.
Trier isn't a PG. Mudiay might be on his way back to china. Smith's knees are a chaos dunk away from imploding. Who the fuck is Allen.

Players must think they need to cash in quickly before they get hurt in their walk year like Boogie or KD

I was talking about Lonzo, but Trier is still young and I think he could be a decent combo guard off the bench.
