By Fenderputty Go To PostSure, but Paul’s frustrations are coming from the same place yours are. Harden can’t be bothered to do anything but hold the ball for most of the clock. DY was right. It’s Harden that’s the problem. Everything else just compounds this.
And let’s be real. Paul is a hard Ass dick much like Kobe. Everyone was wondering when this shit would sour way back when the trade happened.
Who gave Harden this freedom m8
Which resulted in him winning a MVP, averaging 36 ppg, and dropping 30 on every team.
MDA didn't expect the juice to work as well as it has tbh

Who can take it from him is the more interesting question. Cause apparently CP3 can’t and either D’anoni won’t or can’t either

Check the edit. MDA unleashed some shit. And he can't do anything about it to reclaim it. So. He gotta go.

It’s an interesting quandary for you honestly. Cause you’re better off without Paul moving forward even if he’s correct about Harden overall.
By Smokey Go To PostWho gave Harden this freedom m8Morey. Why is that even a question?
By reilo Go To PostMorey. Why is that even a question?
Hmm? It was MDA who came in and decided to make him a "PG". Everybody laughed until he then started putting up insane numbers. My point being I don't think even MDA saw his production getting to these levels and since it's there, there's nothing that HE can really do to change it.
By s y ngmi Go To PostHarden has been the PG since day one c'mon brehWho ran every point guard out of town?
Been saying this for years lol
By s y ngmi Go To PostHarden has been the PG since day one c'mon brehActually wasn't Lin the PG? Pretty sure they went Lin-Harden in the backcourt.

By masud Go To Post<– I believe Knux.people been saying these exact same things before the lottery... Knicks are really not that important
I think a lot of the negativity is a byproduct of the Zion hype and now we're transitioning to "He's gonna be a Knick so fuck him." The kid is young as hell (should be going into his freshman year next season), already has lots of tools and has weaknesses that can easily be improved. Im all in.
[Ramona on ESPN LA] "I don't know if Rob could have fought to push the deal on July 30th. If the Pelicans trade the #4 pick then they don't have the right to say what that team does with it."
[Shelburne] "It's also against league rules to have conditioned trades. The Pelicans cannot say to the Lakers "we'll wait until July 30th" because it's not up to them, any trade they make subsequently cannot be conditional to them."

By blackace Go To Postpeople been saying these exact same things before the lottery… Knicks are really not that importantYeah, he's a shooting guard that shot 30% on threes and 67% at the line. That's not good. People can excuse the threes as shots selection, I guess, but it doesn't explain why he can't make the free ones, either.
I just don't think that many guys actually get to the NBA and learn to shoot. That's the gamble you're taking on Barrett. He's not a sure thing.

By Kibner Go To Post[]Finally, someone does the work for me. There's some good examples I hadn't thought off hand of at the top of the list there, but it looks like a lot of the improvement is pretty marginal. Like, I don't think anybody would argue Andrew Wiggins meaningfully improved his shot.
By Kibner Go To PostWish volume came into play more here too
By blackace Go To Postpeople been saying these exact same things before the lottery… Knicks are really not that importantI wasn't being completely serious there and I assessed the pre lottery criticism...
By DY_nasty Go To PostWish volume came into play more here tooHe did only take people who had at least 300 attempts in the first two years and at least 300 subsequent attempts but still wishes he had more data, so yeah.
By Adam Go To PostCan't wait to see how Kibner defends Lolzno and BrandumbDefense for the first and iso scoring/foul drawing for the second. Unless they actually improve once outside LA.
Also, even with those 300 attempts for each period, that still isn't enough to really make a statistically significant conclusion. According to this article, it takes roughly 750 attempts to get a "split 50-50 between skill and noise".
By Smokey Go To PostKawhi probably a fun af dude to hang around with off the court and away from camerasSupposedly he was quite different before his dad was killed
By Fenderputty Go To PostLonzo tossing Zion lobs will be a blast to watch.
Wait until you see the lobs to Sara Lee.
CP3 angry Harden won't let him coach him. CP3 not wrong about his complaints but letting the situation turn toxic because that's what CP3 does.
I mean, Hardens accomplished more than CP3 already anyway.
CP3 continues to unite and harmonize teams around his presence.

i'd need a lightly protected 2020 pels pick and like, the entire laker pick horde to move Beal to Pels
don't want ingram or lonzo
but this talk of the #4 being good enough is crazy

Guy under Ernie--interim GM Tommy Sheppard.
Making a move as big as trading Beal by an interim guy would be weird. Either the guy you're hiring signs off on it while a deals in the works under the table, or your interim guy is sure to become your main guy.

Zion has a high ceiling, but it'll take a few years to really round out.
Note sure Beal will cost as much as AD either. But it's a bizzare trade for everyone.
By Adam Go To Post diehard plz
this trade is really hard to do--you have to include a ton of contracts to match and one of them almost has to be the crappy dante exum deal--3 years 10.6 a piece no team option
is a jazz first really worth the trouble, particularly when moving a very good PG
