By blackace Go To Posttrading Josh Jackson for Ball might be a come upThink both are about the same on the "potential-o-meter" but one has an idiotic father that would probably run riot in phx.
The other is just a casual drug user.

I mean I get that this will have a huge effect on a lot of teams this off season but at least give it a day or 2

holy shit they published the data set on tableau public, wonderful
By jjasper Go To PostI mean I get that this will have a huge effect on a lot of teams this off season but at least give it a day or 2
It’s more acting like he was already there and that he ruined it. Noting that this will affect FA is one thing. That front page reeks of entitlement
By jjasper Go To PostI mean I get that this will have a huge effect on a lot of teams this off season but at least give it a day or 2It's the daily news... That's like asking the national enquirer to vet their sources.
By jjasper Go To PostFair enough. Anyway the Knicks are going to give up every asset they have for Davis.I really think this takes the Knicks out of that race. If you wade though all the media crap the Knicks front office, at least publicly, has always been about this patient rebuild. Obviously if you have a shot at one of the best players in the league you make sure you have the money but I really think last night is gonna make the Knicks double down on building though the draft.

I would love this.

This is what I was hearing yesterday
By Pac-12 Go To PostNot really sure why the Suns would want to do that.Get a "PG"/wing defender and a shooter for dumping a guy who does nothing and a pick that isn't likely to be better than anything they receive.
By Pac-12 Go To PostYeah, but that they also get the "PG"/wing defender's dad.
Dad wasn't as bad year 2. Not even close to year 1 and the build up.
By Fenderputty Go To PostLonzo might be the only dude I wish wasn't shipped out in that deal lolit's too late for him
it's been too late since he told everyone bron was his favorite player
now phoenix can finally unleash his true potential by having lavar as head coach, and getting the other 2 brothers in the team
Lonzo and Booker and Ayton could be a nice squad with some time to gel. Lonzo's ankle's aside, dude plays solid D has good vision and pushes pace. Both booker and Ayton would benefit from playing with him. The drama with his dad is way overblown IMO. He stays healthy and start hitting FT's consistently and he's gonna be good.
By Fenderputty Go To PostHe stays healthy and start hitting FT's consistently and he's gonna be good. The bars that low now huh
By jjasper Go To PostFair enough. Anyway the Knicks are going to give up every asset they have for Davis.Hell no, I think Lakers get AD. Knicks going to rebuild and hopefully draft RJ.
By HasphatsAnts Go To PostDamn, we legit just saw the end to KD's peak as the best player in the league and a top 15 player all timeKD will be fine.
That trade would be franchise crippling.
Lonzo, Ingram, Hart and #4 is already too much. We'd be throwing Kuzma in too? Fuck that. The FO cannot be that stupid.

I'm 100% serious. The Lakers get absolutely fucked with that proposed trade.
By Stern Go To PostI'm 100% serious. The Lakers get absolutely fucked with that proposed trade.
I know you’re serious. Locking in AD for three years of Bron is not franchise crippling. We’re not trading away 5 years of picks for Nash
By unknown Go To PostKD will be fine.
It's unlikely. History has proven otherwise for achilles injuries and depending on the severity of his...I no longer want KD on the NY payroll. He'll lose his explosion. He'll lose his ability to bring the ball up effectively. He'll basically turn into a straight up shooter and we've had that. His name was Carmelo.
Kemba seems like he wants to stay in Charlotte. Kyrie is now leaning to the Nets. Hell, even with Kyrie, the Knicks will win 35 max. They will be the Cavaliers pre-LBJ return.
Knicks are looking more and more likely to strike out this off season. And will probably make a stupid move out of desperation by giving KD the max regardless.
Our only hope is RJ turns out to be extremely good off the bat.
You just aren't ready for the super team of:
Alex Caruso
Some Dude
LBJ
Wagner
AD
Oh and holy shit, I forgot Fuckball Supreme is our head coach.
This season is going to be amazing for everyone who isn't a Laker fan.

We need to at least be keeping one of Zo or Ingram, or if we're absolutely giving up both, then Kuz + #4.
Anything more than that is the kind of fleece that would make Jason and the Argonauts priapic.
By Adam Go To PostWho?Pretty sure he is the Bucks hold-me-back coach

The Knicks need to move like a small market team and build the roster organically.

Just playing a bit of devils advocate, because that would be a great return in theory, but isn't Washington and Phoenix getting pretty screwed here? I feel like at a minimum some first rounders need to shuffle around. IDK, maybe not.
Phoenix gets a PG and gets rid of Josh Jackson, I'd say they make out okay. The Wizards get the rough end of it though. Not even getting a pick back for Beal is bad. Also not sure how Stephenson factors in because he isn't under contract?
Shrug.
Shrug.
