the league appears to only do that for shit like coke
"Drug of Abuse" which is like LSD, meth, coke, opiods, oxy, etc.
He was definitely doing some shit. Hope he can get help and fix it.

OJ Mayo.
I honestly don't think the Knicks are that into trading for AD. These reports are made up. Perry traded KP in the dead of night without it even being rumored but now the media has an in on what they're thinking?

According to Jackie MacMullan of ESPN, Pelicans owner Gayle Benson would trade Anthony Davis to the Lakers only ‘over my dead body.’
Speaking with Brian Windhorst on his podcast, here is the full quote from MacMullan: "We have been told, I think, through channels – most of us have heard this same scuttlebutt – that Gayle Benson has basically told [GM David Griffin], "To the Lakers, over my dead body." Griffin will likely try to convince Benson to be receptive to offers from the Lakers, as he is hoping to land the best possible package in exchange for Davis. However, if Benson doesn't budge, this is excellent news for the other teams expected to compete in the Anthony Davis sweepstakes, i.e. the Knicks and Celtics.
I missed this before, but with the competition committe meeting to discuss rules in two months:
• Speaking of Tuesday's GMs meeting: Multiple sources say the liveliest topic of discussion centered around the possibility of implementing a coach's challenge at some point soon. Some in the room favored a more limited challenge system focused on black-and-white rulings: out-of-bounds plays, goaltending, and the like – but not fouls. Others argued coaches should be able to challenge foul calls.
The league would likely favor the more restricted concept, if anything. Allowing coaches to challenge fouls is something of a Pandora's box. Should they be able to challenge non-calls, too? There was also discussion of whether a challenge should cost a team one timeout regardless of whether the coach "wins" or "loses" the challenge. Some in the room were wary of coaches using the challenge to create an extra timeout. Also: What if a team is out of timeouts?
There is a lot to determine, but accounts of the depth of the discussion suggest this concept has some new momentum.
• Also discussed, per sources: stationing a "replay official" at the scorer's table who could make some determinations (was that shot a 2-pointer or a 3-pointer?) without stopping play, and flag other plays right away so that referees would not have to huddle up and decide whether to trigger review. Thumbs up!
I like the restricted challenge idea a lot, actually. Challenging fouls is dumb and it's similar to what the NFL is doing right now because of the NFC championship game. Too many grey areas for that to be effective.
I also really like the idea of a replay official and fixing 2-3 pointers in real time. Keep the game flow steady with limited interruptions.
I'd also adopt the NFL rule--every challenge is worth a timeout with maybe 3 per half or 2 per quarter max? Interesting ideas. I like em.

By DY_nasty Go To Postcan we just eliminate clear path fouls already? And charges
The fourth refs at the scorer's table makes a lot of sense. The league already has a 4th ref travel with each squad in case of sickness/emergency if a ref isn't available. Might as well put them at the scorer's table and do work.

Charges are more inconsistently called than clear path fouls lol
Then there's also some inconsistent rules about the charge circle etc and it's wholly dumb. Would eliminate a lot of attempted flopping, too.

Moving screens should be free throw and the ball.
No screens above the three point line.
Rip through is offensive foul

This would actually fit what IWMTB was talking about earlier. Since he’s only for one year left, we would have the cap space to go after AD assuming he isn’t traded to us

Like do they need another wing?
Russell works hard, I'm not really worried about that
More worried about what we'd do about the PF problem in that scenario
Which is pretty nice actually
