Honestly I think Ingram has potential. If I'm the Pelicans all the bums plus the 4th pick is not a terrible package.
See if you can get a third team involved and convert Ball into more assets.

The view from the drawing room, where the actual NBA lottery happens an hour before the results are shown on TV:

• Maybe the most fun part of the drawing room experience is watching the TV show knowing the results. When ESPN cut to the bar of New York fans celebrating that the Knicks had cracked the top four, everyone either chuckled or winced. If only they knew the letdown that was coming.

bradley beal is really good and can fit with many different types of players
the lakers have bar none the dumbest front office in the league, middling at best assets and the 4th pick in a bad draft, yet chumps somehow think they can get him lmao

I feel conflicted about being overly critical of college athletes. DY's out here dressing down embryos.
Ingram was improving last year before the injury. But, mostly from his mid range. Until he can hit the 3 his game will always be meh. Either way we're stuck with him after that injury. Ball can't stay on the floor long enough to matter. When he does play he Ricky Rubio unless his streaky three is on. The only young player we have with any value is probably Kuzma, who himself didn't' take a big a real step forward last year.
Rambis gonna fuck up any perceived value that #4 has anyway ...

Pretty shocked to see all of sports talk media sympathizing with Zion's disappointment last night. Someone even said he being exiled to Siberia. Now that ain't fair.

"Griff was never going to trade AD," a rival general manager told Bleacher Report on Tuesday night, referring to David Griffin, the Pelicans' new executive vice president of basketball operations. "That's why he got the job."lebron for that #1 pick. who says no?
Two other executives in the league confirmed that theory to B/R. One also confirmed a report by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski that Griffin spent the hours after the lottery scouring the league for players to pair with Davis, not seeking scenarios to trade him.
Within an hour after the conclusion of the lottery broadcast, Griffin had received 222 text messages, a league source told B/R. One can only wonder if any of them were from Davis' agent, Rich Paul.

By Kabro Go To Posthttps://bleacherreport.com/articles/2836292-stunning-nba-lottery-swings-anthony-davis-sweepstakes-in-pelicans-favorThis is honestly the first time this narrative of Griffin being hired simply because he showed a willingness to keep AD has been made. That he is staking his reputation on it.
lebron for that #1 pick. who says no?
Not sure I'm buying it based on the more reputable reporting and his own statements that I have heard over the time since his hire.
By DY_nasty Go To PostHow's AD working out thoHow's the Dolan Knicks been working out?
What has David Griffin done to deserve any benefit of the doubt, though? His Cleveland resume is, um, well he traded for Kevin Love when they were the only team that could really do so. But he's really nice to reporters and they'll all carry water for him until he's fired in four years.
By Jonm Go To PostHow's the Dolan Knicks been working out? They never had a generational talent and surrounded him with nobodies for their entire career to the point where a trade was demanded
And if you really want to get into it, Shinn was one of the few owners worse than Dolan too

Traded away Wiggins and avoided that albatross of a second contract, that has to count for something.
And if memory serves, the net cost to salvaging the first year of LeBron and winning a title the second was Waiters and a first, which resulted in Mozgov, Shumpert, and Smith.
They couldn't play Mozgov in the playoffs. I guess turning Waiters into Smith and Shumpert is good, though.

He actually played ~30+ minutes in 5 of the 6 games against GSW that first year. The second, though, he was injured early in the year and wasn't near as effective and Cleveland largely went with Thompson as the small ball 5.

KP tore his ACL and was out the whole year. The trade was to fit a 2nd max slot and KP bailed on NY's plan anyway. Plus, the guys who were left weren't winning 30 games.

By Pac-12 Go To PostMEMORANDUMI mean if we are talking from the wayback machine, Dolan's biggest offenses were when Shinn was still around. Recently? Dolan took away some dudes' season tickets... that's a good day for him. I mean he also doesn't force players to come to his concerts anymore so that's good.

But it is amusing how the narratives shifted back so suddenly from Griffin turning everything around and showing the Pels are making serious changes to.... NOLA being a dumpster fire so Zion should go to this other dumpster fire we just happen to like because it's a big market we've been building up.

They don't need #1 draft picks to be good, they just need to not have one of the worst owners in the league squandering the embedded advantage they have against 90% of the rest of the league.
And go ahead and tell me more about that from the high horse in Charlotte you crotchety cunt lol
