By diehard Go To PostHow can you go almost the whole season being a fairly good open shooting team to a series of total shit?
Is it being shook? is it just being cold for a stretch like early in the year? Is it something specific about the Rockets?
Utah's shooting went fly fishing with Jeff.
Jazz perimeter D is falling apart communication wise, Crowder and Mitchell are running at the same shooters.
Mitchell is like 70% 2006 Wade trying to play like 100% 2006 Wade and that's a horrible idea, but I understand why he adopted this approach.
Reggie Miller is super annoying... The reason the Jazz had no shot blocking on that last drive was because Favors had fallen down behind the basket trying to get an offensive rebound... This is really basic stuff, come on.
Obviously Gobert is a much better shotblocker than Favors (Gobert is all-time great, Favors is okay to good) but your choice of possession to bring this up makes no sense.

CP3 is a lot EASIER to guard this year because he can't jump at all anymore (so you don't have to worry about him ever taking layups and can ignore the threat of him driving further into the paint).
But he's still really good....

4-17 in the first half.
2-9 in the third quarter.
That's on pace for 4-18 in the second half.
Folks
That's what we like to call consistency.

disappointing game from Donovan, looks like he has lost all confidence in his jumpshot so all these late clock possessions are ridiculously hard floaters and layups. Eric Gordon's strength is really showing in this series.
wtf, Rubio is on fire from midrange.
This only happens once every 8 games.
lmao, still terrified of shooting a three.

Harden has decided that he can break out of this nightmare by shooting the hardest threes I've ever seen.

Yes, this is Rubio on fire.
As soon as Harden scored on Favors, Gobert immediately checks back in.
Which, like... makes sense, of course.

Rubio trying to earn his way back on the team
Chris Paul should shoot a mid-range jumpshot every single possession

Hmmmm, not sure how to feel about that Capela rebound.
Because he obviously grabbed Gobert's arm and pulled him down which is obviously a foul by definition.
But in the playoffs, there's 20 definitional fouls per possession.
It makes it very easy to get salty though as there are 10 missed calls against your team every possession.

These Mitchell drives just have no chance, he's diving into triple teams and praying and it's not working out.
By Sho_Nuff82 Go To PostMitchell at this point is Westbrook with less swag.
.
By BigBoss Go To PostThere was no need to shoot that Rubio.

This is easily his best shooting game in a month even with that horrible miss.
