By Netsradamus Go To PostMost boring conference finals ever?
i'd be surprised if the raptors series doesn't go at least 6
I don’t know why any legit conference finals team would rush to blow things up?
I’d be open-minded toward changes but unless Klay, Steph, and Dray break up, and ring chasers dry up, I don’t know what move you make for many of these teams that is going to do anything but maybe get you a game or two more in the series? At least until this core starts declining or you hit them in an injury plagued season.

Blazers beat no one. Braindead OKC and a Nuggets tean that needed a forfeit to get to the second round.
Only team with a future in the west playoffs outside of the warriors is the clippers.

Clips are ass if they strikeout on a superstar free agent as well.
Blazers do have some nice cap space opening up in two seasons. Looks like they'll have to run it back next year though.
Most interesting thing for the dubs is that it looks like Draymond has made a strong case for a max with his play this post season.

By DY_nasty Go To PostDraymond hasn't played a decent center or frontcourt since the first round 😂
There is probably only one frontcourt in the league that can give the warriors problems. Everyone else they make unplayable.
By Trey Go To PostThere is probably only one frontcourt in the league that can give the warriors problems.i swear people act like the warriors can only be bothered by prime hakeem. they couldn't even deal with tristan thompson lmao
kanter/meyers is basically forfeiting. capela got 80 mil then was outplayed by nene - who somehow handled the interior better AND played better perimeter defense than him. they met one halfway decent frontcourt in the clippers and it stunned them flatout
dray is running free coast to coast then moving guys out the way inside who would get mauled by anyone.

Tristan Thompson only "gave them problems" because he grabbed extra offensive rebounds so one of the greatest players ever and his robin who was scoring 30ppg that series got extra possessions. The warriors small ball lineup has been the most productive lineup in the league every single year precisely because it forces every single team in the league to not play their bigs.

The Sixers are the only team I can think of that just stays big and has success against them.

The warriors small ball lineup has been the most productive lineup in the league every single year precisely because it forces every single team in the league to not play their bigs.and that's not what's happening anymore. the teams that are out there getting neutralized aren't getting bodied by that lineup - they're getting by manhandled by kevin looney... TT wasn't just about offensive rebounds either. He could play PnR, switch, and not be a pushover in the interior. You can't name one big that's been able to do that against the Warriors this post season outside of Harrell.
the problem with the warriors is that when they're able to steal possessions or go unchecked on their dives, you don't get to play anymore. The Blazers will never hold a lead because of it. The Rockets had the same issue.
The small ball doomsday shit was a big deal when the league was still playing catchup but that narrative is really overused now. Just about every (functional) team in the league has a similar package that harps on the same things. Not with the personnel of course, but because the whole league is copycat - its not some "what do we do? we've never seen anything like this before" type of ordeal.
This is basic stuff that the Warriors are getting away with. Anthony Mason and Larry Johnson did this. Shit, the Blazers and Rockets would've had their hands full with Keon Clark...
KD does allow Draymond Green and Iggy to put forward zero effort in the regular season and still have the Warriors win 55-60 games automatically.
That's pretty super valuable as everyone else is tired and they just got 7 months of pseudo rest.

there's barely any centers that you can keep out on the floor in general against a good small ball unit these days if we're being real about it
finding someone who can switch a pick and roll without giving up a shitload of offensive rebounds feels impossible and is why dray will get a max

By DY_nasty Go To PostFvv sucks lolProvides literally nothing. No idea why nurse keeps playing him
Kawhi resting with 3:41 left in the 3rd, six point lead for Toronto. By the time he comes back will the lead be gone... Giannis not on the floor either.
