By IWMTB19 Go To PostThe Bucks' role players are way way better than the 2000s Cavs.Yeah that's why I said "upgraded".
Though Giannis is worse, of course.
They are better but are still a bunch of inconsistent bums who can be ghost on any random night, when it matters most.
Siakam goes from being the chosen one to just another guy every other game. Giannis can't trust anyone.
I've lived this story.
By kjack Go To PostYeah that's why I said "upgraded".Maybe Middle and Bledsoe could be inconsistent at times, but Brogdon was one of the most consistent players on the Bucks/league. You knew you'd get 10-16 points, around 4-5 rebs and 3-4 assists combined with hustle and D. He was much better than any of the guards on the 2018 Cavs opposite LeBron. He would've been wasted on that team though.

Is it really that obvious that LeBron was better than Giannis at 25, or is our impression based on the fact that Giannis took more time to blossom and we don't have 15 years worth of performance to appreciate Giannis' true talent?
Listening to the Ringer today and they pointed out Brook Lopez is the only lottery pick in the ECF, that's crazy
Lebron James had been the best player in the league for 3 years already by his age 25 season. Giannis has had a transcendently great season but it’s still just one season and he hasn’t had any big playoff moments yet
By Netsradamus Go To PostNo need to drag this out, just get swepped and speed Kawhi off to the ClippersAgain, go Bucks

Besides injury.

I heard on SportsCenter Warriors ran only 3 isos in Game 1. That's amazing... completely reverting to 2014-2015.
There's no way Golden State can keep ignoring Moe Harkless on D. If that continues Harkless has to score 20 or at least be put in a situation to take advantage of that. Portland doing a lot good on O so far, McCollum is hot and Aminu and Harkless have hit open looks early. The D is still a work in progress though...

By blackace Go To PostGreen got 4 blocks?green is everywhere so far.
uhh... no goaltend? That looked weird.
By Doomsayer Go To PostPortland is really active on defense. I like itMuch better this quarter, if Golden State is going to run the Curry or Klay w/ Livingston/Bell/Looney/Jerebko lineups, dare those others to beat you.
By The Frankman Go To PostLillard STILL hasn't scored? Good thing Seth and McCollum got him covered. That one is for you
Better commitment to D by Portland and the others hitting their open shots via high PnR (Trey Burke Special) got Portland with the big lead. Meanwhile GS other have been missing their looks and the bench hasn't really had the effectiveness they had last two games.
By reilo Go To PostThat one is for youO I hope my personal criticism of Lillard was the driving force for him to get that reverse english for that 3 to roll back in.
Seth is playing with infinite blood lust right now.
His blood is on fire and his heart and mind are full of nothing but rage.
