Houston wasn't giving up wide ass open Curry 3s though.
By Trey Go To PostHouston wasn't giving up wide ass open Curry 3s though.Yeah. I also think Stotts ' stubbornness with that defense is dumb as hell. But I figured hearing his reasoning from his own mouth is more entertaining than transcribing it.
Seeing someone in the comments say "how come Kerr don't let Durant roll off of Curry, he's better than Dray" like the Curry/Durant PnR hasn't been the most broken play in basketball the last 3 years.
The Bucks won the next four to eliminate the Celtics, but losing Game 1 at home could be a dangerous position against Toronto.
"Against Boston, you can go down 1-0 and still be fine," Antetokounmpo said Tuesday. "But against Toronto it's hard to be in that spot when you lose the first game at your home."
lol
By Smokey Go To PostlolLol. I love giannis.
Steve Kerr said he'd like to expand his rotation for the Warriors' Western Conference Finals matchup with the Trail Blazers.Which piggybacks on this report:
"This series feels like it’s a series where we can play more people," Kerr said. "It’s a different matchup and I think that what you saw [in Game 1] is what we’d like to get to every night if we can in terms of playing 10, 11 guys." Jordan Bell, who has been used sparingly throughout the postseason thus far, saw 11 minutes off the bench on Tuesday and it sounds like that could be a trend. Expect to see more Bell, Quinn Cook and Jonas Jerebko this series.
Kevin Durant (calf strain) will not play in Game 2 on Thursday against Portland, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports.Get used to seeing more of the Looney/Bell/Jerebko lineups with one of Iggy/Livingston and Curry/Thompson.
Haynes has been all over the Warriors news for years, so this is as good as reports can get. Coach Steve Kerr wouldn't commit to anything earlier today and the Warriors will have another update tomorrow, but KD will miss his third game. It'll be a team effort with the Blazers needing to make an adjustment to guard Stephen Curry. Andrew Bogut will likely start again with more Kevon Looney, Jordan Bell, Quinn Cook and Jonas Jerebko.
Portland needs to double steph and Klay basically anytime they have the ball. Force ANY of those other guys to make their shots. Do not allow Steph to make 7 open 3 pointers, the most anyone has hit in the past few playoff years:
2019- Steph- 7 open threes made
2018- Klay- 6
2017- Love- 6
2015- Steph- 6

slaent translation: Your team aint shit and i'll throw any lineup out there and not feel threatened.
The Raptors getting some really good luck so far, but they're also getting great looks.
The Bucks' incredible defense is again asleep, team is too young.

Bucks on pace for 60 threes while Raptors are on pace for 52, lots of good offense and bad defense so far.
Honestly really like this matchup, for the Raptors, of Ibaka guarding Giannis and then Gasol is the paint.
Will see how Giannis adjusts to it.

Y'all think Kerr is free now, let him see Lowry and Vanvleet.
Milwaukee doing way too much with these passes with under 5 seconds on the clock.

What are they feeding him out there?
Winning is a hell of a drug.
By Sho_Nuff82 Go To PostMaking wide open shots might be a good idea for MIL.you cant rely on chucking 3's like i said, i told yall bucks are frauds.
By Sho_Nuff82 Go To PostY'all think Kerr is free now, let him see Lowry and Vanvleet.Let him see this lineup that has to give real minutes to Ilyasova and Connaughton.
The Bucks are basically the 2000s Cavs except if LeBron was 10% worse and all of the role players were 30-40% better.
Bucks are down 1 but they're badly outplaying Toronto, don't think this defensive scheme is going to work, Bucks are too good at shooting.
By s y Go To Postpowell and vanfleet are very bad.Really been missing OG all playoffs.
By Sho_Nuff82 Go To PostLopez has like 5 or 6 offensive rebounds, this is unreal.thats not possible
By Kabro Go To Postthats not possibleHe almost has a double double with rebounds. I'm questioning everything.
Bucks are up 5 despite shooting 15% worse from three.
Toronto is getting badly outplayed here, not sure what adjustments they need to make.
