By blackace Go To PostSo them Mariners….
Print the shirts.
By The Frankman Go To PostIt's early. Should take two weeks for stats and hitters to normalize. Pitchers about 3-4 starts.Oh... so you just a hater?

First shutout L for the Doyers this season, and to the same issues we've had over the last couple of years, leaving men in scoring positions. The Cards really bringing us back down to earth.

Yeah but we’ve had a lot of good timely hits so far too. I’m feeling good

By blackace Go To Postamazing start to the season… been real funI have tickets to see M's and Orioles later this year. I didn't realize I'd be seeing the best team in baseball.
By Smokey Go To PostI'm happy 4 uyou got us. We still hot tho
We coming tho.
I'm reminding myself that the Yankees started out last year as shit, then got lightning hot.
Ignoring that they then turned back to shit after the ASB.

Yankees lost again today, making it the 4th series they've lost to open the season (1 win, at Baltimore).
Great start.
Great start.
Red Sox DFA Swihart.
I remember when he had next. But somebody had to pay for Boston having among the worst pitching staffs in baseball through three weeks, you know.

Speaking of, the Yanks and the Sox begin a two game battle for last place tonight.
Edit: holy fuck, yet another Yankee to the IL. This time it's Greg Bird. The only solace is he still can't hit for shit.

They pushed back Sale from his scheduled start against the Orioles. Didn't want him to give up the home run to Chris Davis and shame his family name.
By Pac-12 Go To PostDamn, was hoping the Yankees might win this one. This is easy work! told you.
Sumbitch. Actual light work. And a quick game, at that.
Amazed that I didn't listen.

And now Aaron Judge is hurt. Oblique injury, MRI to come, unlikely to avoid being placed on the IL according to Boone.
On the radio broadcast, they pointed out you could build a starting lineup of this based on who's on the IL for the Yankees:
3B - Andujar
SS - Gregorius
2B - Tulowitzki
1B - Bird
C - Sanchez
LF - Stanton
CF - Hicks
RF - Judge
P - Severino

Yankees damn near ruined a perfectly good afternoon of baseball, losing a 5-0 lead in the eighth to go down 6-5, but Austin Romine came through to tie it in the bottom of the 8th and then to win it in the 10th.
Mets have to make a trade at some point or send down a disgruntled player. Too many good bench guys and not enough spots right now.
Yankees are activating Gary Sanchez and sending Chad Green to the minors

That's better than what he did on Sunday, when he gave up 3 runs in no thirds of an inning.
Trying to remember the name of the struggling reliever from last year who was sent to the Cardinals before the deadline, which is what resulted in Luke Voit. Green kind of looks like him. Oh, don't make me look it up....
Edit: Chasen Shreve. Name is close enough to Chad Green, too.

Green, one of New York's most reliable bullpen arms over the past two years, has gotten off to an awful start this season. The right-hander allowed four earned runs in one-third of an inning Tuesday, raising his ERA to 16.43 in 10 appearances.

You know. I leave you unsupervised for however many innings, watching some playoff hockey, and this is the shit you do, Yankees. Down 5-0 to the fucking California goddamn Anaheim can't fucking choose a first name Angels.
