How does Phil Harrison keep getting jobs. He presided over the worst first-party efforts of both Sony and Microsoft.

did y'all try Project Stream tho?
It's not my cup of tea but it was very impressive how stable it is.

put out the links right now
By Xpike Go To Posthad some friends that tried it and all of them said it ran badlyThat's wild. Out of Sony's, Nvidia, Xbox, and Google's service Google was the most stable by far for me. Played 12 hours and didn't disconnect once.
Downside was that sometimes I couldn't get in the service because I couldn't hit the average latency threshold
Nvidias Geforce Now has been consistently excellent for me for about a year, don't think there are any insurmountable obstacles to streaming anymore
By Dark PhaZe Go To Post"8k, 120fps"Who would have the bandwidth and display for that but not also have the cash for a local machine (console or pc)? lol

I'd love to watch someone to play Quake Champions on a service like this. See that delay and color smear in real time.

I imagine there are certain games that wouldn't hold up where speed is essential, sure, but most are doableDifferent people also have different sensitivity to input lag. A system like this does not run well for me because I am not near a city, so latency each way for me is a minimum of 15ms, adding two frames of lag at 60 fps, which goes on top of the delay from the rendering and the input lag of my display. I can feel that easy.
doom a game where you need 0 input lag will be very funny to see
also this is still a service like 90% of the world cannot use even when you can stream music/video like its nothing
also this is still a service like 90% of the world cannot use even when you can stream music/video like its nothing
do wonder how bad the input lag will be for RDR on this thing. Solid half a second before your character starts to turn?
By HasphatsAnts Go To Postthis is not made for people who play quake champions lolI'd argue it's not for anyone who likes to be competitive in any game that requires quick reactions. :v
By Flutter Go To Postwell that's already better than Crackdown
anthem killer
crossplay is funny, let's pit the guys who are running the game natively vs. the people who are using their internet to even run the game
By Kibner Go To PostI'd argue it's not for anyone who likes to be competitive in any game that requires quick reactions. :vplayed a few games of League on GeForce Now. It's not great but it's fine. The fact that it was my surface is a plus.
