I don't like either the Blue Jays or the Royals, but I think I dislike the Blue Jays more. So, um, go Royals.
Whose bright idea was to make this a 8pm night game in New York... IN FREAKING MID OCTOBER?
Oh my God MLB stay stupid. It's fucking freezing out there.

Hello all.
Fucking horseshit POS stadium. How is there no judgement call?
Flores had an inside the park homer and Conforto scores EASILY. Stupid.

FUCK YES!
Wright/Cespedes/Murphy getting those runs Mets were jobbed out of earlier. That doubleclutch on Bryant loomed large, Maddon didn't want to take out Wood, dude was moving the Mets down.

Y'know I gotta say I remember when I was still on the other forum trying to recruit people... I might've tried harder to recruit some MLB people...

By Sanjuro Go To PostI'm here. But people are kind of racist.
do tell more
I am fucking losing it I can't believe this team is in the World Series. All the heartbreak but optimism after 2006 and Aaron Heilman... everyone thought that the Mets would be back in 2007. Then the horrible collapse of 2007 ... Phillip Umber pitching important games. Then 2008 and Mets closing out Shea on the loss... the agony of 2009 with 325414141943 injuries including the Jonathan Niese inury which broke my childhood Mets fandom... the fact that it took so long and different managerial and regime changes but for the Mets to finally get back to the point we thought they'd get to ten years ago... It's unbelievable. I literally can't believe it. This guy right here
so happy for him and Mets-GAF especially old time Mets-GAF... Link, Kuroyome, Mifune, LJ11 if I'm missing someone I apologize.

It's just amazin! Nobody even had us as a wild card this season. Now look at us. Young studs throughout led by our Captain, who finally gets his chance in the World Series. God bless America. Mets have done it!!!
Always remember Jayson Werth "It's our division to lose" comment. Well Mets took it. Now they going to the World Series.

That is close to the equivalent of Bobby Bonilla saying the Mets are World Series bound.
By Sanjuro Go To PostThat is close to the equivalent of Bobby Bonilla saying the Mets are World Series bound. Are they done paying him?

Hell no! I know they have over a decade to go at the very least.
By Fenderputty Go To PostWhelp … go Mets. Fuck the american league.
What about Donnie?
It's tough. I think he's still at a point he can name his next job, and the Marlins are DESPERATE to have a credible name manager to right the ship and all the young guys. I think he goes there because Marlins ownership is so chaotic they need a guy like Mattingly. His X's and O's work is lacking, but he's better than anyone Marlins have.

Expected. Curious about replacement.

they might be too dysfunctional for Donnie. He comes as needing to belong to something...
Talentwise the Padres would be an interesting fit for him
Wonder if the Reds are firing Price
Y'know there's a pretty good vet manager who's also a good guy as long as you don't have any young pitchers... don't sleep on Dusty Baker.

His name came up in Washington

Dusty is a cool cat. Don't want to see him in Washington, I'd have to dislike him.
Then again he could destroy the careers of Jordan Zimmerman and Strasburg.

Rumor is they're looking for a young stats driven manager. So not Dusty Baker.
