You can excuse cut scenes all you want but there is no reason to start a mission with a cut scene, let me walk for 5 seconds and then start another cut scene.

No reason that when retrying a mission I have to load the starting cutscene then load into the customize page. Or that I can't retry from a downed position without selecting give up first.
Mario Odyssey levels of annoying. Hopefully the BP update brings some QoL improvements.
i like the game but i have no interest in putting time in the combat system to get good scores which is where i assume most of the fun lies.

For the fury, if you can hit him with a real impact as he spawns, it's an insta kill. For the Summoner, you have to parry it to stop it from teleporting.
They're much easier to deal with as Nero.

It's weird at first, and it takes some getting used to but it is fun and you can do some cool shit with it. Chaining executions is pretty key to it though.
One thing the game explains incorrectly about V. Royal Fork isn't just to execute enemies. It can be used a regular move for damage and style.

After playing on DMD I'm convince both of V's exclusive bosses are ass. Behemoth, Artemis and non-horse Cavalier Angelo are way more fun to fight. Nindhogg dude and horse boss are chores.

This game is great. Damn near flawless imo (some setting variety and some of the bosses kinda suck...but that could just be me being assssssss).
Now if Capcom could use these powers to fix their fighting games....or maybe Legends 3.

The only character that I enjoy controlling more than Nero is Bayonetta. Every floor is lava with this man. The damn air taunt allows for so much fun. I don't even have enemy step yet.
I thought I would despise V, but he's cool. I definitely didn't like his first boss though.
Question: Soooo, these DMC2 goons that break combos (I forget the name, but they show up early)...is there any way around that? So far, I just parry them.

-Nero can store charged shots, if you air taunt before letting go of the button.

Cerberus ice age move does the same as its an instant parry from all directions.
Nero air taunt has I frames and you can also exceed with it.
Vs twirl circle cane move is not just for finishers. It can be used for stuns and parries.
Twin kalina forward circle gunslinger move is amazing.
You can do Neros bringer punch while air taunt ting or stationary streak revving.
The bringer punch after an attack stuns enemies in place.
Good looks.

Started DMD. I am not looking forward to Urizen, the DMC1 gang or Vergil. Lol. The amount of health enemies have is kinda absurd.
