GT Goku....not even a week and I already hate fighting him. His assist is great (anyone saying otherwise is wildin). If you get hit, while he has meter, prepare to eat a spirit bomb and a follow up combo after the lvl 3 hits. His strings? Absolutely disgusting. Gotenks type of ish on block.

The gf does not like VF5. From what she has told me, it seems it is too technical and unforgiving for her to enjoy while inexperienced. :(

I have taken 7 but don't like it. Will probably pick up BlazBlue as I am hearing good things.

granblue is the newest one based on gacha (i think?) games which just had its beta, looks pretty good and they've focused a lot on making it accessible. blazblue is more of your typical anime fighter, overcomplicated bs really, similar sort of deal with guiltygear. all developed by arcsys.
I get so tilted playing Fighterz online, some days, especially when it's due to a bad connection. One dropped input can equal a dead team. It sucks, especially when it's against someone you can easily beat. I don't normally let that type of psychology get to me, but fuck, the tilt is real today. Lmao.
Kinda want to try Grandblue. Anime Street Fighter seems apt and it looks like some shit that I would enjoy.
