theres so much vulgar stuff in this match but the cube at 22:34 and 1:!6-1:28 would just make me reevaluate why i even play the game
Actually playing Master Duel, against this character. Heinous activities.
Asuka might be terrifying next season, I fear. I didn't see any clips of people testing him over the weekend, but from what is known about the system mechanics changes...yea.

Asuka at the least needs to have his Burst removed so he is forced to eat every combo he gets hit with.
I spent a bunch of time with the Granblue Versus Rising beta. Kinda shocked that I ended up loving it as much as I did. For reference, I did not like OG Granblue...at all. From what I gather, they actually took the feedback from the first the beta to heart, and fixed it. Apparently, beta 1 was kinda ass, so to see the huge level of positive response is crazy.
The one thing I'll give the OG over this, is that it felt more new player friendly. This game is knowledge check city and the damage can be absurdly high. It's not as bad as Strive, in that regard, but if you fuck up, you're getting put in a terrible situation and your health is gone. SBA does so much fucking damage.
Outside of that minor critique, I think the game flows well. Giving you unlimited access to EX moves is one of the smartest and more inspired design choices that's in modern fighting games (don't know if it was like this in the og). Fullscreen neutral skips being tied to meter is pretty good. The brave point system is cool to interact with. More importantly, it gives you enough time to react to it on offense and defense. The dash attacks make it so that everyone doesn't just get fucked off of spacing. And the meter gain being as high as it is, especially when you walk forward (not dash...walk) promotes doing cool shit on offense. Throws feel good.
It's the last game, except better: much better.
Also, I think this game does the "for casuals" game modes right. Grand Bruise is Fall Guys with items and it's toxic as hell. I think they're supposed to add more game modes to it. Even though I have some misgivings with how it's implemented, it's also f2p. If you don't buy the game, I think you can always play Gran, but the other characters you can use rotates. I truly feel like you should be able to buy one character, but I can guess as to why that isn't an option: I digress. And the lobby is actually fun to mess around in, especially since there is regular matchmaking at the menu.
I talked to some people that didn't like it, and I truly get why. For some, the simplicity will be a turn off. For others, it's the unblockables, and other evil shit that's in it. You can pick something and absolutely fair.
For me tho, it's a breath of fresh air for an anime fighting game. I hope it does well. Save me from Guilty Gear Strive, please.

Why does she have mix? She looks ridiculous.
It all comes down to the frame data, but she looks oppressive.

By DiPro Go To PostWhoever designed JPs kit deserves jail time.Yes
prolly not feasible but I dislike that every fighting game releases DLC fighters 1 at a time. I wish they dropped in pairs. I'm less inclined to buy a new character if the majority of the player base is using them resulting in mirror matches.
At least in SF6 every character takes around 4 months of development so you'd be waiting like an entire year between drops
