Played like 20 matches of VF5 tonight. I am so trash. lol
Game is still super fun. Really have to ingrain how quick strikes beat throws in this game, integrate more sidestepping, execute parries more consistently, and follow up combo strings with my defensive stance.
Also, block better.

Yeah. It is so easy to have fun at pretty much any skill level with that game, which is why I have been so sad that it hasn't gotten a new entry in like 15 years. Sega won't invest in it like Capcom with SF or Namco with Tekken, so it probably will die off again in a few weeks/months, which is a shame.

RC Drift is one of the coolest mechanics in a fighting game.

performance of the port is overall pretty good, but there's some sort of bug causing huge slowdowns in 4k. they've warned people not to play 4k online lol, so it sounds like they're fixing it. most of the other issues stem around server problems, really unstable. also finding custom lobbies is broken, but you can connect if you follow people in the lobby.
it's really fun playing in lobbies where no one picks sol/ram/may but they're everywhere in ranked
also on crossplay, they said they'll be looking into it after launch, but i don't have high hopes

2/3 platforms for strive are playstation. It's legit impossible for that cross play revenue split payout to even be a factor. Even if strive was on every platform, ASW doesn't even sell skins/costumes.

Played Rerixo. The connection was fine to me. I don't know how it felt on their end. The netcode is crazy, when you can actually get a match started. LOL.
