SIX TIMES CHAMPION OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!
Great weekend from Valteri, deserved winner, Lewis top race and RBR was close but never close enough.
Ferrari no words
And DannyRic just kept Lando behind, yellow flag helped?, for best of the rest.

Max to the stewards in 1-2 :P
Ferrari....that's what happens when you stop cheating, love Max his no-nonsense instead of all the political correct from others about the issue....not the smartest ;)

Yeah that was a fun way to open that interview. Toto and Lewis basically said the same thing during the weekend but indeed in a more delicate way.
I haven't been able to watch the last two races because of the time difference. Can someone explain to me what happened to Ferrari this race. Why was Seb out?
Huge congratulations to Lewis. Hated him his first few years in the sport, but really come around to respect the guy. Ferrari really got it all together to stop him equalling Michael next season.

Vettel broke rear right suspension lap 8, after dramatic first lap, from 2nd to 7th.
Jumping to conclusion is in full force, as there was a specific FIA directive (question rbr) regarding messing with the fuel flow meter. And surprisingly Ferrari lost speed this weekend, so you can see were the press will go with this one Will have to see next few races if some of that Ferrari power really is gone.

Hopfeully it was just a blip. As you said, will be interesting to see how the next few races go.
Nah, Ferrari were definitely having that controlled leak to give them that extra power on the top end.
Better than Gasly and no other options within RBR, so quelle surprise
and Charles with the 10 grid penalty for Sunday as his Auston engine was done.

Got to love time- zones for weather like this, no early mornings waisted ;)
For last race of the year, other than how much money for the teams based on WDC standings, not much to race for. Not a bad thing as the Autódromo José Carlos Pace in Sao Paulo is a great little track for racing. Based on final; 1200 meters flat-out uphill should suit Ferrari power, but twisty middle sector is more Merc/RBR land.
Weather should dry out during the weekend, so race probably dry.....again.

Tire selection:
Last Year:
FP1 - Verstappen - 1.09.011
FP2 - Bottas - 1.08.846
FP3 - Vettel - 1.07.948
Qualify - Hamilton - 1.07.281
Race - Hamilton - 1u27min09.066
Fastest Lap - Bottas - 1.10.540

Always amazing how, when everyone thinks it is to wet for slicks, one guy in the end goes out on slicks they all follow and than yellow/yellow/yellow/red, before anyone end a single lap :p
Timing pointless as wet at the start and inters after.
Few spins in the last few min.
Max:
Danil:
Alex red flag:
Similar order to that of the last few, single lap Ferrari little ahead, long runs looked best for Mercedes, with Max just ahead of the Ferrari of Vettel. Short track, so lot of traffic so hard to read to much in to it, but would say that Merc should be able to pull a Max from last year (p4/5 Q in to win) without the collision ;)
To much traffic to sat anything mote worthy of the midfield, other than that a good tow up the hill could be different in Q3 or not.
oops:
Sub 70 seconds lap but still lovely close between Merc/RBR, Ferrari looses out to much in S2, so they need some adjustments before Q if they want to compete for pole.
Midfield all teams other than Racing Points withing 3 tenths, gonna be uphill tows that will decide positions
Carlos, engine issue, Stroll, Williams and Kvyatt was few hundredts to slow, midfield so close
Grosjean happy:
I will never understand the Pirelli. Maybe the Mediums are better for these track conditions, who knows? It’s a lottery.
Gio error, not much improvement in 2nd run, but Lando out with one hundred, rest also withing 1 tenth Both Ren and Perez also out,
Max looked good so far, wonder how much engine modes Fer/Merc still have for Q3
Fernando on TV3: Max is the current best driver on the grid. And I am at an average 0.3 second per lap faster than Max.
Birthday present for his boss, lekker MAX!!
Vettel 2, Lewis 3 and Charles p14
And Gasly best of the rest, amazing how the pressure fell of this guy and he brings the performance again.

That Lewis pole drought, what is it 8/9 races, must have been in his McLaren days that happened for the last time

Anyone watching the Brazilian GP from 2008?
Its currently on Sky F1. Hamilton's first title.
What a last lap.
Also, they pronounce Vettel as we now know it and then pronounce it as Ve-Tell. 😁

2008 races was brilliant, for the 2009 gp the first lap would be enough, never see so many different incidents in a single lap :p
In Dutch we pronounce them the same as the foreign language would. Always strange to hear Englisg pronounce foreign names as if they were weirdly written English names.

By noal Go To PostThe pitstops are brilliant. Because of refuelling, the tyre changes are so relaxed.watch that refuelling in the 2009 gp
Fuel-hose still attached when driving away and a ferrari that catches all the leaking fuel and gets on fire
good old days
